PolyU-SPEED AWARD

This programme is offered by the School of Professional Education and Executive Development (SPEED) with academic support from the Institute of Active Ageing (IAA) of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU). On successful completion of the programme, students will be granted the PolyU-SPEED award of Diploma in Active Ageing.

課程由香港理工大學（理大）專業進修學院開辦，並獲理大活齡學院（ I AA）提供學術支援。學員修畢課程後，將獲頒香港理工大學專業進修學院「活齡文憑」學銜。

The programme aims to equip students with the required transferable skil ls and knowledge for enhancement of the daily l iving activit ies of active elderly people.課 程 旨 在 裝 備 學 員 有 關 提 升 活 齡 人 士日 常 活 動 素 質 的 技 能 及 知 識 。

Applicants are expected to have the following qualif ications:• Secondary 6 or equivalent, OR• Secondary 5 or equivalent plus 3 years of

full-t ime work experience, OR• QF Level 3 qualif ication.

申請人需具備以下資歷：

‧中六或同等學歷；或‧中五或同等學歷，以及3年全職工作經驗；或‧資歷架構第三級學歷。

活齡文憑Diploma IN Active Ageing

Applicants who cannot provide proof of attainment of the requisite qualif ication but have accumulated at least 10 years of work experience in senior positions wil l also be considered on an individual basis. They wil l be required to demonstrate to the Admission Interview Panel their abil ity to complete the programme.

申請人若具備10年或以上資深職位的工作經驗，即使未能提供所需學歷證明，校方亦會視乎個別情況考慮其申請。惟有關申請人需要參加入學面試，以證明他們具備完成課程的能力。

Students who have completed 30 credits of study with satisfactory results will be awarded the Diploma in Active Ageing.Students who have completed 9 credits of study with satisfactory results may apply to exit the programme of study with the exit award of Certificate in Active Ageing.

學員完成30學分並取得滿意成績，將獲頒「活齡文憑」。

學 員 完 成 9 學 分 並 取 得 滿 意 成 績 ， 可 申 請 結 業 ， 並 獲 頒 「活齡證書」。

To enable students to demonstrate that they have met the intended learning outcomes of the programme and fulf i l led the requirements of each subject, appropriate methods of assessment wil l be employed. These methods include assignments, projects and tests etc.

課 程 將 採 用 作 業 、 專 題 項 目 及 測 驗 等 方法 ， 以 評 核 學 生 是 否 達 到 課 程 指 定 的 學 習目標，以及每科目的基本要求。

Classes will be held during weekday evenings and/or Saturday daytime on PolyU Hung Hum Bay Campus.

上課時間為平日晚間及/或星期六日間，上課地點為香港理工大學紅磡灣校園。

Programme Code and Duration: 84064 (Part-time, 2 years)

Credits Required for Graduation: 30 credits

Tuition Fee: HK$1,930 per credit for 2019/20 academic year (Tuition fee is charged on a semester basis)

Programme Commencement: 2 September 2019

Study PatternUnder the normal study load, students are required to study 6 credits in each semester and 3 credits in the Summer Term. The number of class contact hours is normally 39 per subject.
