Polymer Additives Agricultural Plastics
Cytec Helps the Agricultural Market Growtoday, the agricultural industry is striving to produce more
diverse crops and crops of higher quality using natural
pesticides and fumigants for health, safety and environmental
reasons. Greenhouse film covers and mulch films used in these
applications must be formulated to withstand prolonged UV
exposure, variable weather conditions and aggressive
agrochemical environments which can adversely affect the
stabilization systems in the films. optimizing operational costs
is also increasingly important to growers, and more durable
films can lengthen the time between costly replacements.
cytec has been a global leader in the stabilization of plastics for
agricultural applications for more than 35 years. We continue
to focus on the development of innovative products that will
help the agricultural market meet these challenges and grow.
CYASORB CYNERGY SOLUTIONS® A Series stabilizers
cyASoRB cyNeRGy SoLUtIoNS® A series products provide the
most advanced protection to polyethylene mulch film and
greenhouse film covers during outdoor exposure even when
exposed to aggressive agrochemicals like burning sulfur.
A series also protects the films during film extrusion and
provides enhanced thermal protection to the films during their
service life (4+ years for greenhouse film; 2 years for mulch).
New! CYASORB CYNERGY SOLUTIONS® A440P stabilizer
For optimal UV protection under severe agrochemical
exposure, including sulfur burning.
CYASORB CYNERGY SOLUTIONS® A430 stabilizer
Provides outstanding UV protection and superior resistance to
greenhouse film covers exposed to aggressive pesticides and
fumigants (to 4+ yrs service); Also for mulch applications.
CYASORB CYNERGY SOLUTIONS® A400 stabilizer
Delivers excellent protection to mulch film and greenhouse
film covers (to 2+ yrs service) in the presence of aggressive
pesticides; Very high light transmission for better crop quality
and growth.
