ProFlex™ Standard Profiles

The product is manufactured by the extrusion and the expansion of low density polyethylene granules in cells with enclosure structure, in controlled atmosphere and technical conditions under temperature’s influence with butane gas as foaming agent. The product is classified as polymer, is characterized by a hight elasticity, low permeability to liquids, low thermal conductivity, and sound-‐absorbing properties, resistance in time, while being rot-‐proof and insensitive to the action of insects and rodents. It is an ecological product, contains no toxic substances and has no radioactive emissions, is 100% recyclable.

Expanded polyethylene products are elements of low density insulation.

The products can protect in excellent conditions the angles, edges, circular surfaces sensitive to continuous strokes, shocks and scratches; because it is chemically inert, it can come into contact with surfaces that have been applied over dyes, lacquers, paints without sacrificing the quality of the finishing. The Roflex products are used to produce the packing boxes for fragile products of different shapes, to achieve thermal insulation and soundproofing in pipelines, tunnels and storage tanks, with the max use temperature of 80°C. The products meet the requirements of Law no. 123/05.05.2007, regarding the construction quality, required to be maintained throughout product use.

ProFlex™ Tube Profiles

The product is manufactured by extrusion and expansion under controlled conditions of the polyethylene, in cells with enclosure structure. The product is characterized by a density of 30 kg/m3, a thermal conductivity of 0,035 to 0,040 W/mK, a water vapor diffusion resistance of 6,91x102 m/s and water absorption is less than 2%. It can be used in heat range of -‐80°C and 95°C.

POLITUB formats have a wide range of use: heating, sewage, air conditioning or ventilation. The application of a paint film protection on the product makes it useful outside the buildings it is resistant against UV rays and ozone.
