Nanogel® aerogel is Cabot Corporation’s tradename for its family of hydropho porous amorphoussilica containing approximately 95% air. The unusualcharacteristic is the nature in which this air is distributed. Like a sponge, but with holes that arethousands of times smaller, aerogel suppresses theflow of heat more efficiently. Note, Nanogel® isavailable in most panel profiles.
