Leave
Partner employees will be governed by Wipro / Client Holiday calendar as applicable
Earned Leave:
One day - paid leave per month. No encashment of leave at any point of time.
Leave policy is as per calendar year
Month on Month 1 day leave will be earned, if not availed can be carry forward to a maximum of 6
days
Every 6 months – all accumulated leaves will get lapsed for Partner Employees, current leave
cycle is calendar year
Partner employee should have worked for 20 days-excluding Saturdays & Sundays-in order to be
eligible for leave
Note: if any Partner Employee takes leave over & above eligible day in a month will attract
“Loss of Pay”
Compensatory off:
Allowed at the discretion of Manager. If partner employees’ work on a holiday or weekend/weekly-
off, they can avail compensatory off on another working day in the same salary cycle
Compensatory off and working, needs to be accurately updated and approved in the Synergy
Attendance Module, before timesheet submission so as to enable processing
Comp off will not be applicable if a Partner Employee avails reimbursement as per Holiday Working
Policy

Leave.. Contd.
Maternity Leave:
Paid maternity leave entitlement is for 3 months or 90 days (although as per The Maternity Benefit
Act, 1961, a women employee is eligible for 12 weeks or 84 days of leave)
Minimum of 80 days service is a pre-requisite to be eligible for maternity leave
Can avail 6 weeks prior to delivery and 6 weeks after delivery
ML must be applied for at least 3 months before the expected date of delivery
In case of miscarriage, leave entitlement is - 6 weeks
Maternity Benefit:
Employees with gross salary of <=Rs15,000/ per month are covered under ESIC and get benefits as per ESIC
policy.
As per ESIC Policy, Maternity Benefit for confinement/pregnancy is payable for three months,
which is extendable by further one month on medical advice at the rate of full wage subject to
contribution for 70 days in the preceding year

Employees with gross salary of >Rs.15,000/ per month are not covered under ESIC & Wipro will provide 3
months paid maternity leave + Rs.2500/- towards Maternity expenses
Maternity Benefit is restricted to two live births; If an employee already has 2 children on joining, she is
not entitled to maternity benefit

Resignation & Notice Period
Partner employee must post resignation in synergy tool
Supervisor would have to approve/reject the resignation within 3 days. Else, the
resignation gets auto-rejected
Post Manager’s approval, PEET HR would have to approve the resignation
Minimum Notice Period to be served is 30 days from the date of resignation
Only when resignation is approved at all levels, and notice period is served, partner
employee’s synergy id is deactivated and is released from the organization
Relieving formalities will be done only on successful closure of resignation, KT,
handover
The relieving documents can be collected from respective partner organization only
after completing all the above formalities

Shift Policy
Eligibility:
Partner employees in 24x7 sites.
They should have worked either
1. Min 8 hours a day incase of a 6 day working week; or
2. Min 9.5 hours a day incase of a 5 day working week
Shifts are defined as below:
1. Night Shift : Min. of 4 hrs bet. 10 pm & 7:30 am
2. Late Evening Shift : Mini of 3 hours bet 8 pm & 7:30 am
3. Early Morning Shift : Should work in the time window of 3:30 am to 5:00 am

locally for work.
Eligibility:
Local conveyance is not applicable for commute from home to work and vice a versa.
* For DNA engineers conveyance charges at actuals and also includes commutation from home to
customer calls and vice a versa.

"Early" is when a Partner Employee reports to work 2 hrs
before official start time
"Late" is when Partner Employee work 2 hrs after official
closing time.

Eligibility:
Partner Employees working on Sundays / weekends / weekly off days.
As per recommended limits below, or introduce a comp off at manager's discretion.

Out Station Travel
Eligibility:
Partner Employees who are required to travel out of their base city for work.
Approval must be taken from Supervisor in advance.
In the option of Bhatta – you may prefer to stay with a friend, relative or family member where;
o It does not violate the 'Conflict of Interest' Policy ;
o it is within reasonable commuting distance that does not affect work adversely and stay with
friends / relatives are not detrimental to your working or working hours.
Boarding, Lodging, small expenses viz. tea, coffee, tips, etc will not be reimbursed if you have opted for
