POLAB® AMTThe laboratory automation system with industrial 6-joint robot
POLAB® AMT, a laboratory automation system of modular design, is equipped with an industrial robot. It integrates the existing POLAB® standard modules for capsule reception and sample preparation into a successful modular design.
The configuration can be adapted to project-specific requirements. Furthermore, POLAB® AMT can be individually equipped with the following components, according to the laboratory requirements:
n up to 2 POLAB® ART capsule receiving modules,
n up to 3 POLAB® APMplus sample preparation modules,
n up to 2 sample stores,
n 1 input/output magazine,
n different analysers such as XRF, XRD, colorimeter, laser granulometer, etc.
An optional housing encloses the modules on an area of just 5.7 m2. Its doors are safety-monitored. Thanks to the housing, access restrictions or monitoring of the room are not necessary.
During maintenance of the robot, the individual modules can be operated manually. POLAB® APMplus sample preparation modules as well as POLAB® ART capsule receiving modules are provided with a separate PLC and a control panel. Independent operation is thus possible.
No robot is required for transferring pressed tablets to the XRF and XRD analysers.
