By proceeding with your adoption enquiry, you confirm and accept the following conditions of adoption with Pointers in Need. b. Neither you or any member of your household has a prior conviction for, or is being investigated by any authority in regard to, matters relating to neglect and/or abuse of any animal. c. You and everyone in your household are willing to accept the responsibilities of adoption with Pointers in Need, in accordance with the full terms and conditions set out in the adoption agreement. This includes an adoption fee of £250.00. (see last page below) d. Taking on a rescue Pointer is a huge commitment. It is very important to give time to these Pointers. Your ability to put aside busy schedules/ chaotic living and commit to taking on a rescue is a pre-requisite to the adoption agreement, if you cannot commit to this then it probably is not the right time to adopt. It could take a week, a month, or even a year for these Pointers to fit into family life. Please be honest with yourself, and ask how much time can you really give to a Pointer who may be needy?
