Safe Boating Course ~held at the Recreation Center~
Date: 7/16 & 7/17 (Mon.& Tues) Ages: 13+ Time: 6:30--10pm Cost: $80
This is a two session Safe Boating Class for a total of 7 hours. Upon successful completion of the class you
will get the New Jersey Safe Boating Certificate required by law to operate any powered vessel on any wa-
ters in New Jersey. NASBLA approved for insurance discount.
Boot Camp Classes

Adult Boot Camp- Ages: 16yrs.+ Starts: July 1 - July 31,2018 Cost: $55
Participants have unlimited access to all of the classes on the gym schedule for 1 month. Participants will
experience an exciting hour of high intensity strength & cardio exercises designed to challenge strength &
endurance while burning mega calories. The workout moves quickly taking you from one exercise to the
next with little or no rest using equipment such as battling ropes, kettle bells & medicine balls, as well as
body weight exercises such as box jumps & burpees to name a few. Participants are encouraged to take
breaks when they need to, while trying to keep their heart rate up. Options on every workout can be given
to suit nearly anyone’s fitness level.

We like to plan our activities, trips and events so that they will keep the children cool, entertained and delighted in spite of
extreme afternoon temperatures. Children will enjoy trips to the River Beaches, Breakwater Beach, Bowling, Sky Zone, &
both Roller & Ice skating in addition to many other trips/activities. Children will be given a calendar that will let you know
what activities they are doing and when they have trips. We will also be bringing in on-site entertainment. Children must
bring a bag lunch. Child must have completed Kindergarten to participate in this program. Camp t-shirts must be worn on
all trips. ***Once you have successfully registered for this program, all participants will be emailed the packet to be
completed for Full Day Camp.***

Our goal is to provide a safe, fun, well organized, well supervised summer camp experience for 4 & 5 yr. olds. Every day the
children play (of course !), do arts & crafts, have a snack, go outside, sing songs & dance, play group games and much more!!
You will receive a calendar on the first day of camp highlighting weekly themes and special days. Your child will need to
bring a healthy snack every day. Children must be 4 before July 1, 2018 and MUST NOT have attended Kindergarten. Once
you have successfully registered for this program, all participants will be emailed the packet to be completed for
KinderCamp.

Policy-Residents of POINT PLEASANT BOROUGH can register beginning Tuesday May 15th at 9am. Non residents
can register starting May 22. Registration is available online via the Community Pass online registration system. If you have
not already done so, please go to http://register.capturepoint.com/PointPleasantBorough to create your family account online.
After that you can register for programs & pay online. Payments can be made by credit or debit cards online. DO NOT USE
A CELL PHONE TO REGISTER, IT’S NOT COMPATIBLE WITH THE SOFTWARE. Check payments can be
made in person only, made payable to the Borough of Pt. Pleasant. **A fee of $20 will be charged for any checks that are
returned to us** The Recreation Dpt. reserves the right to cancel any classes due to low enrollment. The Recreation Dpt.
reserves the right to remove a program participant for disciplinary problems and/or violations of Recreation rules & policies..
Registration will close out at the end of the day on Friday June 22nd.. NO REFUNDS ON TRIPS OR SPECIAL EVENTS.

along with playing strategies to help the growth & development of each player is the focus of this week-long
camp. Stroke & footwork drills along with fun on-court games, make this the perfect opportunity to introduce
or enhance your child’s experience playing tennis.

“Little Brushes” week long camp will run for 5 days, 3 hours a day. The themed camp will be taught on a
16 x 20 canvas. Themes can range from safari, forest animals, famous places, wizards and magic, heroes,
Under the Sea, paintings taught under black light, etc. Each theme offers fun crafts and games to comple-
ment the weekly theme. An instructor takes the painters step-by-step through how to paint their selected
masterpiece,. Our instructors will work closely with you to choose an appropriate painting.

FIELD HOCKEY Location: High School Field Hockey Field & runs for 1 week

ing & exposure camps across the country. The tradition of the MVP Lacrosse Camp continues with instruction
from top high school, college & professional coaches as well as players. The goal is to teach players of all ex-
perience levels the fundamentals, an understanding of the game & to refine their skills.
*Boys will need their own equipment-helmet, sticks, gloves, mouthpiece, arm pads, shoulder pads Girls
will need their own equipment also– mouthpiece, goggles & sticks*
