Late nights remind meof knocks on the door. How the moon serves the night.honoring the Sun’s duties, brothers, but not quite.

Throat aches bare, lungs breathe sorrow.Gut cramps pain, heart pumps dry.Knees bow to agony. The last leaf descends, white crystals puddle, goodnight highest Sun.

All things around weep, weep for the season, which will come back.

Yet, I cannot cry for one more memory, one more hero, one more angel, the last Frankie.

Here we lie in an unconscious stateignoring the world.I want so much to speak.Every word that cross my viewseems meager toembody your smile.

No frame could hold this sight.I don’t care what the sun thinksmoving across the sky, searching.Every call to my name I put on hold. What more could I say than this bed that I have made?Your eyes glimmer comfort. This sheet could be cotton, more likely air.We know this moment must true.

In solitude who am I to talk to?My thoughts speak to my dream’s hope.

Ode to the winds of my yesterdays.Carrying me into the future,To where all winds calm.

Just air, traveling this stream,Born from pressure.Set on an expected path.

Due to breeze for mature. But I miss the airOf my cool, free-blowing past.

Pushing the clouds above,Making limbs grind below.Birds, perfect metaphor for freedom.

I will drift how I want.Wherever this current takes me.Sailing above those who blue,Cooling as many as I can.

At night I cuddle to the sound, perhaps, it speaks to me.Your resonant wave, crests through my stagnation, disputing the channel.

Radiant darkness, catches the corner of my closed eye.I roll to your side.Bring back the spare pillow. My toes crack in sigh,to such an allure.the remote teases my reach.
