Poem

1
Upon a lofty mountain top or wallowing within the vale, Struggling deep within the waves or upon the sky i sail; In sickness and in health, i hold this promise true That whatever be the tide, ever my love, i do. Though seasons take their rapid turns and the tide of time take its toll As memories fade out of moments and the wheel of fate upon up roll When life desires to bring of down; i stand upon my vow to you That whatever be the tide, my love, forevermore i do. When life has brought up near its end and the sun dare shine on more When earthly glories fade out to the promise on the other shore I still hold on the promise with every breath, beat, nerve and sinew That whatever be the tide,my love, I love you, I do.
