Slidethepowerswitchandreleasetoturnonthepower.ThePocketeDGewillstartup.Startupwilltakeafewmoments.

ThePowerLEDtotherightofthepowerswitchwilllight.ThescreenwillflashandtheenTouragelogowillap-pear.Thereaderscreenwilldisplaythereadersplashscreen.YouwillknowthatthePocketeDGeisreadytousewhenyouseethehometabletscreen.

SlidethepowerswitchandreleasetoturnoffthePocketeDGe.Theshutdownscreenopens.SelectPowerdowntoturnoffthedevice.

• AgreenblinkingLEDindicatesthebatteryischarging.• AgreensolidLEDindicatesthebatteryischargedorinuse.• AredfastblinkingLEDindicatesthebatteryiscriticallylow.• AredsolidLEDindicatesabatteryfaultwiththepowerswitchintheONposition.• IftheLEDisOFF,thepowerisoffandtheACadaptorisnotattached.TheLEDisalsooffifthebatterycannotcharge(forexampleif

Suspend Mode

Thedevicewillentersuspendmodewhenyoucloseit.Itwillstartupintwotothreesecondswhenyoure-openit.Suspendmodewillconservebatterypower.

Whenthedeviceenterssuspendmodeyoushouldbeawareofthefollowing:• ThepowerLEDwillblinkgreeneveryfivesecondswhiletheunitissuspended.• Toexitsuspendmode,opentheunitandpressanybuttononthetabletsideofthedevice.• DonotremoveanyUSBflashdrivesorSDcardswhilethedeviceisinsuspendmode.• Thedevicewillnotentersuspendmodeifyouhavethemini-USBcableconnected.• Youshould not turn the power off whiletheunitisinsuspendmode.Firstopenthedevice,pressanybuttononthetabletsideto

startit,thensaveandcloseanyfilesthatyouhaveopenbeforepoweringtheunitoff(forexample,journalsordocuments).• Youcansafelychargeyourdevicewhileitisinsuspendmode.

Moving Device Storage to MicroSD Card

YoucanuseamicroSDcardinsteadoftheinternalstorageforthecontentonyourde-vice.Thisletsyoustoremorecontentthenyoucanonthe3gigabytesofinternalstorage.

NOTE:YouaremovingtheentirefilesystemtothemicroSDcard.If you remove the microSD card from the device you will not be able to access your content.
