Enjoy the holiday of a lifetime every time you cruise with usAt P&O Cruises we want to give you a holiday to remember, filled with special occasions and memorable moments. From the friendly greeting you receive as you step on board, to Black Tie nights where the entire ship dresses to the nines, or from a lazy afternoon of pampering in The Oasis Spa, to a romantic dinner for two at a Marco Pierre White restaurant, everything about your P&O Cruises holiday will make you feel special. And when your cabin steward knows your name, and your bar steward remembers your favourite drink, that's simply how a P&O Cruises holiday should be.

The trusted cruise expertsNo one else knows the globe like P&O Cruises, so we can seek out the best the world can offer you. We can trace our roots back to 1837 so we know the way! And you'll celebrate being on holiday on one of our magnificent ships with deck parties under the stars and sailaway parties from our fascinating ports of call. Our Captains and officers will enjoy meeting you around the ship, and explaining what's happening behind the scenes, in their own nautical way you'll be an expert mariner before you know it!

The Value of cruising with P&O CruisesOur holidays have always been known for their remarkable value with dinning, entertainment and children's club amongst the list of essentials included in the fare. The more you cruise with us, the greater the benefits you can enjoy. The P&O Cruises Peninsular Club is our loyalty club where we reward passengers for every night spent on board and you only need to have spent 15 nights on board to automatically become a member. Benefits include an additional 5% discount on selected cruises, discounts on any on board purchases including drinks and shore excursions, invitations to exclusive on board events and a dedicated check-in facility.

P&O Cruises can trace its roots back over 175 years to the formation of the Peninsular Steam Navigation

MORNING, NOONMORNING, NOON AND NIGHTAND NIGHT

MORNING, NOON AND NIGHT

Days at sea lend themselves perfectly to exploring your ship. There’s an almost endless choice of things to do and discover, as well as plenty of space to do nothing at all. Here’s an idea of how you might like to spend your time.

Behind the scenesThere are plenty of personalities on board and we’d like to introduce you to as many as possible. We hold casual chat shows where we introduce your Captain, officers, theatre cast and other key figures, and there’s the opportunity to explore behind the scenes when we bring below deck operations up into the atrium and open the doors to the restaurant gallery.

Shop ‘til you dropThe sweet smelling perfume shops will tempt you in with their fragrant scents. Jewellery shops will sparkle for you and the clothes shop with its smart suits, bow ties and dresses will provide the perfect outfits for Black Tie evenings. You’ll also find a range of daywear and all your holiday essentials from toothpaste to sunscreen and the perfect holiday read, many items are available with savings off the UK high street. Art lovers have the opportunity to purchase pieces from our exclusive on board collection and there are great savings to be made on camera equipment from the photo gallery.

Learn something newOur daytime entertainment programme includes talks and interactive workshops, featuring subjects as diverse as history, current affairs, the natural world, art, dance and gastronomy. All are delivered with enthusiasm by top experts in their field, including some well-known faces. And our port talks present the highlights of your next destination along with insider tips.

Something for the sports enthusiastsSports fans needn’t miss out as, satellite permitting, we show the

TMbig events including football, rugby, Formula 1 , tennis and, every four years, the World Cup. If you’d rather take part than sit back and watch, there are team sports on the sports court, golf nets, a fully equipped gym with fitness classes, swimming pools and deck quoits or shuffleboard

The best of the big screenIf you’re a film buff, you’ll be delighted to know that you can watch a variety of classic British films, family favourites and the latest blockbusters, whichever ship you choose to travel on, whether on your in-cabin tv or the big screen.

And for the finaleEvenings on board our ships are full of possibilities. After dinner the stages in our theatres play host to creative shows performed by a troupe of stringently auditioned and well rehearsed singers and dancers from our own Headliners Theatre Company. The team also includes top directors, choreographers and set and costume designers who bring together a vast wealth of ideas and experience to deliver West End quality shows.

You’ll also find soloists under the show lounge spotlight, live bands in the bars and a DJ in the nightclub. If you would prefer to entertain rather than be entertained then you’ll find sophisticated bars and lounges too for sparkling conversation with your fellow travellers.

Relax and be pamperedIf pampering is a priority on holiday then the Oasis Spa and Health Club should be one of the first places you visit, whichever ship you travel on. The spas on board Azura, Ventura and Arcadia have dedicated pools. Arcadia’s is an indoor hydrotherapy pool. Ventura’s is an endless pool where you can swim against suites where heated ceramic loungers, designed to relax you after your spa treatment, await. And then of course, there are the treatment rooms on all of our ships where a menu of tempting treatments will leave you relaxed and renewed.

EXCLUSIVELY FOR ADULTS Imagine a holiday with tranquil, relaxing spaces; where you can share your day's experiences with like-minded people and where you can enjoy fine dining and sophisticated bars. Our ships that are exclusively for adults offer just that.

With her signature tiered stern decks, delightful Art Deco touches and a stunning atrium with a Tiffany glass ceiling, Oriana is elegant and attractive and exudes refinement and luxury. Days can be spent by the pool, whilst evenings could feature dinner in Marco Pierre White's Ocean Grill and a West End style show. However, if you prefer to be a little more active whilst on holiday, you'll find a state of the art gym, sports courts and golf nets.

Exclusively for adults, Arcadia offers a relaxed pace, stylish surroundings and more than a hint of extravagance to P&O Cruises. Arcadia's signature features such as her exterior glass-fronted lifts and expansive art collection, featuring no less than 3,000 works of art, create a sophisticated air. ORIANA

The smallest of our seven ships, Adonia is designed to offer a delightfully intimate cruising experience. Radiating small ship charm, she carries just 710 passengers. And thanks to her small size, P&O Cruises Adonia is a pathfinder ship, exploring ports the larger ships of today are unable to visit - with 75% of her staterooms featuring a balcony, the views are second to none. With wood-style panelling, a grand staircase and traditional artworks, her ambience and décor are in keeping with the traditions of cruising. Yet being a 21st century ship, (she was built in 2001) there is modernity to her detailing, all of which is beautifully crafted. Adonia features luxurious touches, including dining by Marco Pierre White, eight bars, library, spa and a show lounge. And of course being smaller, everything on our Adonia cruise ship is just a short walk away.

SAILING WITH THE FAMILY Imagine a family holiday where children of all ages can discover

new places, as well as meet new friends and uncover a hidden talent, while you enjoy lazy days by the pool or a few long-awaited romantic evenings for two. Aurora, Azura, Oceana and Ventura all offer the most incredible family holidays so you can be sure that the phrase “I'm bored” will be left on the gangway.

What to bringFamilies very rarely travel light and the younger your family, the more essentials there seem to be. That's why, if you choose a cruise, there are no restrictions on the amount of luggage you can bring. So long as you can fit it comfortably into your cabin then you're welcome to bring as many essentials as you like.

Going ashoreThe fun needn't stop when your ship arrives in port. With a range of family-friendly shore excursions available at many destinations, you and your family can make the most of your time ashore. All activities are professionally organized and range from treasure hunts on Caribbean beaches to swimming with stingrays, independent city tours to transfers to local beaches and waterparks.

Dining and dress codesChildren are of course welcome in all of our restaurants, but we also offer a special children's tea every night featuring all the food that children will enjoy: sausages, fish fingers and pizza to name just a few (for babies we offer a selection of baby food and infant milk on request). We also offer a range of healthy options, including fresh fruit and vegetarian dishes. These are all served in our informal buffet restaurants so children can be casually dressed whenever they eat there, and if children are going to be with you in the evening in the more formal restaurants and theatre then, even on our Black Tie and Smart evenings, children can still dress more casually adopting our Evening Casual dress code.We do ensure some of the bars and public rooms on board are exclusive to adults. You can even buy a soft drinks package for your children at the start of your cruise, just to make life, and budgeting, a little easier. You can find out exactly what each ship has to offer at www.pocruises.co.uk/family.
