Meeting Minutes The 646 th meeting of the Drifters Jeep Club was called to order at 7:34 PM by President Mark Phelps on December 3 rd , 2015 at the Finish Line Bar and Grill in Pomona. The Flag Salute was led by Norm Gerwein. Roll call was taken by Shaun Gilpin. Members: 20, Qualifying: 0, Guest: 0 Linda Torrey was introduced as the new secretary, read the minutes of the previ- ous meeting and these accepted with no changes. The treasurers report was read by John Bur – see treasurers report in newsletter for details. Bills to be Paid : Stamps to John Bur and Gift Cards to Dave Pfeifer Conservation Report - Don Rybarczuk reported the next meeting of the Califor- nia 4x4 Wheel would be January 23, 2016. Delegates Report – None as Joey Morri- son was not present. Old Business: November Runs – Raymond Kimpton re- ported there were lots of guests at the event. Members stayed varying lengths of time, thus it was difficult to get a head count or jeep count and Wednesday was very windy. Steve Sturdevant has the sign in roster but was not present at the meet- ing. Members at this run split into groups that went to Glams and those who wanted to run the rocks. A separate contingent of members accompanied Frank Wagner to Gordons Well, there were 5 jeeps and 13 people present and it was agreed that they should receive points for that run. They spent four days on the sand at the Imperial Dunes, and enjoyed a bountiful buffet in Frank Wagner’s travelling ban- quet room courtesy of the WORMS (Wives of Regular Members). Meeting Minutes The 646th meeting of the Drifters Jeep Club was called to order at 7:34 PM by President Mark Phelps on December 3rd, 2015 at the Finish Line Bar and Grill in Pomona.

Minutes Continued Frank is to supply Shaun with a list of members at-tending that run. Several members also did a run on Cleghorn Road on November 28th. The trail was clean did some great 4 wheeling towards Silverwood near the end of the trail. There were 5 Jeeps, 9 people pre-sent. They will supply the roster of this event to Don so he can send to the State for the record.
Past President’s Picnic – Dave Pfeifer reported the winners of the game at that event. Jeannie Bargman and Parker Sturdevant.
New Business: December Run – Is the Christmas Party. Dave Mey-ers reminded everyone of the Christmas party and that Chery needs to know if children are coming so no one is left out of the festivities. See the invitation for de-tails.
January Run – Cross Country trip to Arizona moun-tains on Jan 9, 10 and 11. Meet Saturday Morning at 9AM Arizona Time (8AM California time) in the Sam’s parking lot in Laughlin. The run will be a loop returning that evening. Vince will be reserving a par-ty room for that night, perhaps two nights. Those who wish to can contribute $15 for the bar supplies. There is a group planning an unofficial New Years Eve sand run at Glamis wash 4, since this is NOT the official run there would be no points awarded for attendance.
February Run – Trail bosses still need to get this one planned. They are considering back side of Salton Sea and need an additional back up plan. There is also an unofficial Sand run for Super Bowl Weekend this month, however, again it will not include points for members unless it is the official run.
March Run – Currently discussing plans to do Barstow by the lava beds, but this is not firm. Back up plan has not been decided.
50/50 Won by Jeanne Bargman for $60 - Congratu-lations.
Meeting adjourned at 8:13PM.
Next Meeting will be January 7th at 7:30 PM at the Finish Line Bar and Grill.
