These systems are suspended on a IV Pole stand, limiting the patient’s mobility and comfort. As HPN is per- formed in an environment with an increased risk of infection, patients or their relatives need a straightforward and safe set up. HPN therapy is usually delivered daily, over 12 hours or more. It should offer the patient mobility at night as well as during social and outdoor activities, such as school or work during the day.
