Edmund Barton Edmund Barton was the first prime minister in history.He became prime minister on the 01/1/1901 when protectionist party [party e] won. He was prime minister until 09/24/1903 when Alfred Deakin became pm. Edmund was born in 1849 in glebe, Sydney. His nick name was toby,he lived for 71 years, he died from heart failure in the Blue Mountains [NSW]. His hobbies was fishing and cricket.

Alfred Deakin Alfred Deakin was the 2nd prime minister after E.Barton.He was one of the two people that was prime minister. 3 times.1st term: he was in office from 09/24/1903 to 04/27/1904 [7 months 4 days]2nd term: 07/05/1905 to 11/13/1908 [3years 4m 9days]3rd term: 06/02/1909 to 04/29/1910 [10 months 28 days]Alfred was born on 8th of march in1856 and died on the 10th of July in 1919 while he was in south Yara Melbourne

He was born on the 9th of April 1867 and died in 1941. he was 63 when he became prime minister and yet he youngest in history.Watson was prime minister from 27 April 1904 to 17 august 1904 [4 months 13 days] memberships: liberal party; Australia-America association; queens club;

political memberships: liberal party [leader 10 march 1971-20 December 1972. =]

George ReidGeorge was the 4th prime minister of Australia. He was born on the 25th of February in 1845 Scotland. he died in 1918 in London. he was nick named “yes/no Reid”. He was prime minister from 18 August 1904-5 July 1905. he was prime minister from exactly 10 months 18 days.

Andrew FisherAndrew was the 5th prime minister of Australia. He was born on the 29th of August in 1862 Scotland. Now he was the 2nd pm that has been pm 3 times! 1st term: he was pm from 13th November 1908-2nd June 1909 [6months 19 days]. 2nd term: it was from 29th April 1910-24 June 1913[2years 2 months 22 days]. 3rd term: 17th September 1914-27th October 1915 [1year 2 months 10 days].

Joseph CookJoseph was the 6th prime minister of Australia. He was born on the 7th of December in 1860 Silverdale, England he died on the 30th July 1947 in Bellevue hill, Sydney. Memberships: the red cross society. Cook was prime minister from 24th June 1913 to 17th September 1914. Buried: cremated in Sydney.

William HughesWilliam Morris Hughes was the 7th Prime minister of Australia. He was born on the 25th of September in 1862 Pimlico, London and died in 1952 . Lindfield, Sydney He was pm once from 27 October 1915 to 9 February 1923 he also was a house of representatives for 51 years – the longest serving Australian parliamentarian, longest-serving Prime Minister until 1956 when Robert Menzies overtook his record 7 years 3 months and 14 days in 1957

Stanley BruceStanley Melbourne Bruce was the 8th prime minister of Australia. He was born on the 15th April 1883 Toorak, victory and died on the 25th August 1967 in London. Stan was pm for quite a bit from 9 February 1923 to 22 October 1929 and he was the second youngest PM (John Watson was the youngest)

James ScullinJames was the 9th prime minister of Australia. He was born on the 18th September 1876, Trawalla, Victoria and died in 1953 Hawthorn, Melbourne. he was pm from 22 October 1929 to 6 January 1932 and he also played the violin in his spare time he was an pretty good player.

Joseph LyonsJoe was the 10th prime minister of Australia. He was born 15th of September in 1879 Stanley, Tasmania and died in 1939 Darlinghurst, Sydney. 1 of his nick names was Joe or Joey and another was honest Joe, Joe was pm from 6th January 1932 – 7th April 1939 also the reason he stoped being pm is because he died in office.

Earle PageEarle was the 11th Prime minister of Australia. He was born on the 8th of August in 1880 , Grafton, New South Wales and died in 1961 Royal Prince Alfred Hospital Sydney. Page was in office for 19 days! 7–26 April 1939 he also was nicknamed ‘the Doc’

Robert MenziesRobert was the 12th Prime minister of Australia. He was born on the 20th of December in 1894 Jeparit, Victoria and died on the 15th May 1978 , Melbourne. Menzies broke the record of longest in office [7 years 3 months 14 days] that was held by William Hughes but later on John Howard took it up to 11 years wow. And he was nicknamed ‘Pig-iron Bob’.

John CurtinJohn was the 14th prime minister of Australia. He was born on the 8th of January in 1885 , Creswick, Victoria and died on the 5th July 1945. Now Curtin was pm from the 7th October 1941 – 5 July 1945 he was one of only two PMs (Bob Hawke was the other) from Western Australia, but it was the birthplace of none of them. And he was one of the three PMs who died in office (Joseph Lyons died in 1939 and Harold Holt in 1967), but Curtin was the only one to die at The Lodge

Francis FordeFrancis was the 15th prime minister of Australia. He was born on the 18th of July in 1890 , Mitchell, Queensland and he died in 1983, St Lucia, Brisbane. Francis was in office from 6 to 13 July 1945, Forde was 92 years old when he died, making him Australia’s second longest-lived Prime Minister! wow

Ben ChifleyBen was the 15th prime minister of Australia and he was born on the 22nd of September in 1885 Bathurst, New South Wales and died on the 13 of June 1951, Canberra. Ben was the prime minister from 13th July 1945 to 19th December 1949 Ben lost two elections (1931 and 1934) then won his seat back wile in hospital in 1940 wowe and he also died two days after he was re-elected leader of the federal parliamentary Labor Party on 11 June 1951

John McEwenJohn was the 18th prime minister of Australia. He was born on the 29th of March in 1900 Chiltern, Victoria and he died in 1980 Toorak, Melbourne. John was elected on 19th December 1967 and held the office until 10th January 1968, nicknamed ‘Black Jack’ by Robert Menzies, john for his dark, ‘beetle-browed’ appaerance and manner.
