Initially, the production was low but in 2017-18, he managed to produce 65 kgs of honey from 30 colonies and in 2018-19, he harvested 52 kgs of honey from 41 colonies. “From every full/complete colony about 10 kgs of honey can be harvested and more farmers must be encouraged to take up honey cultivation”, he said. Trained in beekeeping by the Dept. of Agriculture, A&N Administration through its various training programmes, Shri Gain said he is grateful to the Deptt. for encouraging farmers to take up apiculture as a source of income generation. New Delhi, Oct 5 Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and his Bangladesh counterpart, Ms Sheikh Hasina today jointly inaugurated three bilateral projects through video conferencing including one on import of bulk LPG from Bangladesh. The other projects are the Vivekananda Bhavan at Ramakrishna Mission in Dhaka and the Bangladesh-India Professional Skill Development Institute, a facility to benefit small and medium enterprises at the Institute of Diploma Engineers. Besides, India and PM Modi, Bangladesh PM hold bilateral talks; jointly inaugurate 3 projects; sign 7 agreements Bangladesh signed seven agreements in New Delhi this afternoon in several areas including education. The MoUs were exchanged following bilateral talks between Prime Minister Shri Modi and Ms Hasina at Hyderabad House in New Delhi. In his statement, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi said the projects inaugurated today - in LPG import, vocational training, and social facility - have the common goal of improving the conditions of the common people. He said the foundation of India- Bangladesh ties is the welfare of the common man. Shri Modi said the Vivekananda Bhavan at Ramakrishna Mission will house more than 100 university students. He expressed happiness that bilateral ties will get a boost after today's productive discussions. In her statement, the Bangladesh Prime Minister thanked the Indian government for the financial assistance provided for Vivekananda Bhavan and Bangladesh- India Professional Skill Development Institute. She hoped that many more projects can be inaugurated in future through joint cooperation. Ms Hasina said over the last two decades, engagements and cooperation in several New Delhi, Oct. 5 Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah has reviewed the ongoing rescue and relief work of all the flood- affected States. Keeping in view the severity of flood situation and the fund positions in the State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF) account of Bihar and Karnataka, the Home Minister has approved advance release of 400 crore rupees to Bihar and 1200 crore rupees to Karnataka from National Disaster Response Fund. He has further approved the advance release of 2nd instalment of centre’s share of SDRF amounting to over 213 crore rupees to Bihar for the year 2019-20. During the South West Monsoon, 2019, 13 States have been affected by unprecedented floods/ landslide.
