2 SKEINS CASCADE PLUSCIOUS (100% Polyester, apprx. 148 yds), Color 10 (Circus Blend) SIZE I CROCHET HOOK (5.5 mm) PILLOW FORM (model used 14” x 14” pillow form) STITCH: Extended Single Crochet (ESC – Put hook through stitch, yarn over, pull hook through stitch, yarn over, pull through one loop, yarn over, pull through remaining two loops) This pattern is adaptable for pillow size, simply by adding to the foundation row, and to the stitched rows. You will want to crochet slightly loosely.

FOUNDATION ROW: Loosely chain 39 (should fit 14” x 14” pillow form) ROW 1: ESC in 2nd chain from hook and each chain across. Turn ROW 2: Chain 3 (counts as first ESC), ESC in each ESC across. REPEAT ROW 2 until your piece will wrap around the pillow form from bottom to top, until both short ends just meet DECREASE ROWS: You will be doing 2 ESC decreases at the beginning of each row AND at the end of each row. Your last row should have just 6 stitches left. Bind off, weave in end. FINISHING: Fold the piece so that the Foundation Row matches up with the last row before your first de-crease row. One side at a time, putting your hook through the ends of each row (you are putting the hook through both layers), ESC for each row until you reach the last stitch for the side, and make that a slip stitch, bind off, weave in ends. Do the same for the other side. CLOSURE: The closure can be just about anything: a big button, of yarn (as with the model), or you could

just tuck the decreased rows inside.
