Plum blossom

There are two kinds of plum blossom painting:(1) white plum blossom, paint with lines(2) pink plum blossom, paint with black ink or color

Both of them have the same things:- paint the trunk using your big brush with less water

- paint the branches like this, using strokes in the Kanji character 女.- you should follow the examples having a circle mark ○ and don’t follow the ones with an X- you can paint the branches using your big brush or small brush

- The flowers have stamens inside- This is how to paint the stamens using your small brush

- This is how you paint the sepals, using your small brush

Let’s start painting the white plum blossom:- first, the trunk (big brush, less water, gradation)- second, the branches (big or small brush)- third, the flowers (see next page)

- this is how you paint the ink petals using your big brush(you can use pink watercolor or black ink with gradation)- make circles using your big brush to paint the petals- after you paint the petals, paint the stamens and sepals
