THE CLASSIC METHOD - to build circuits just like the diagram A well-founded education in the fundamentals of electrical engineering is essential for understanding the complex relationships involved in the various areas of application in electrical engineering and electronics. The plug-in system is the traditional modular construction kit for fundamental, practice-oriented training in these areas: Basics of electrical engineering Electronics Digital technology Opto-electronics A system that is robust and particularly suitable for classroom exercises, performing experiments and general training. The plug-in system allows the construction of experiments that are in practical terms identical to the circuit diagram.

The system not only enhances knowledge, it also hones the hands-on skills that form the basis for more advanced training. For those special requirementsSO3535-5H Universal patch panel, 2/4mm 132 terminals SO3535-5K Universal patch panel, 2/4mm 264 terminals Consisting of 132 or 264 terminal nodes each comprising one 4-mm and four 2-mm sockets. The combination of 4-mm sockets on a 19mm grid and 2-mm sockets on a 7.5-mm grid allows for extreme flexibility and compactness in the construction of circuits using a wide variety of plug-in components. Retractable feet allow the universal patch panel to be arranged in a desktop format.
Universal patch panelsThere are two models of universal patch panel as described above, each available in two sizes. They can either be placed in H-profile frames or be laid flat on a bench. The dimensions of the front panel of both models are identical but they differ in depth. small W x H: 228 mm x 297 mm large: W x H: 456 mm x 297 mm with / without retractable feet D: 90 mm / 50 mm with safety sockets D: 120 mm The resistance between sockets for the terminal nodes is 4x10-3 ohms and they can withstand currents of up to 10 A.
More connectivityThe SO3 housing is reserved for more complex circuits requiring additional connections at the top relays analog circuits control technology and much more
Digital technologyThe transparent housing SE3 is used for digital components. The digital inputs and outputs can be connected from above by means of 2mm leads.
Powerful stuffThe metallic SO4 housing with its black plastic coating is used for power electronics components power transistors load resistors and much more
Quick constructionSO3535-5R Universal patch panel 4 mm 72 terminal nodes Consisting of 36 or 72 terminal nodes each with four 4-mm safety sockets. The terminal nodes are arranged in a 19-mm grid and allow for extreme flexibility in the construction of circuits using a wide variety of 4-mm plug-in components, also featuring 4-mm safety leads.

Plug-in componentsTwo to four terminal components are furnished with 4-mm laminated plugs that plug into the floor of the housing. The plug-in components are plugged into universal patch panels, mechanically locked in place by the laminated plugs and electrically connected to the terminal nodes of the universal patch panels. Other components are connected by means of connecting plugs or experiment leads. More complex components used in digital and analog technology are connected via additional connectors with 2-mm sockets. Control and signal leads are connected to the top of the housing and power supplies are fed in via
4-mm plugs from the patch panel. This ensures that the signal paths and power supply paths are clearly and visibly separate. The two sections of the plug-in component housing are made of highly shock-resistant and transparent plastic (Macrolon) so that the actual component is visible inside. These housings can be opened easily. Power components are contained in a half-open light metal container for better dissipation of heat.

There are a variety of ways to use the Lucas Nlle plug-in system. The universal patch panels can be mounted in profile frames or simply laid on a laboratory bench. The suitcase systems are even more compact and can be put together very quickly.
Ideal for classroom exercisesThe universal patch panel can be used as a desk top system resting on its retractable feet or with the desktop covering and is ergonomically designed for such use. Plastic feet ensure that the equipment does not slip on the bench. Compact and fastThe universal patch panels are also available in suitcase format where they are built in to the bottom of the suitcase along with additional equipment such as power supplies and function generator. The plug-in components can be stored in the lid of the suitcase. The power supplies and measuring equipment can also be replaced by the UniTr@in-I system. All signals can be measured via an intelligent interface and displayed on a computer monitor as an oscilloscope trace, for example. A power supply, a 1-MHz function generator and a three-phase generator are also integrated into the system.
