3rd ANNUAL INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE: PHYSICAL

EDUCATION, SPORT AND HEALTH, PITESTI, 19th 20th OF NOVEMBER 2010

Aim :

Physical Education, Sport and Health is an

Annual International Conference that focuses on

Physical Education, health behaviors, nutrition,

education, cultural and social dynamics, academic

achievement and other topics regarding the sport field.

Sport plays an important role in human life, improving people health and personal growth and also offering the

opportunity to experience fun, exercise and to spend time in a pleasant manner. Physical Education and sport

are activities with national interest, supported by the

Romanian state and included in the scholar curriculum

as a necessary branch of science.Many scientific studies

revealed and sustained the prophylactic and therapeutic

role of sport. It is well known the fact that the physical activity may prevent or delay the onset of diseases and,

at the same time, it is used with great results in their

treatment and rehabilitation.Starting from this point of

view we want to offer a framework that allows people

who are involved in research or in the practice of physical activities and in sport performances to find out

the most recent news in this field.The International

Conference entitled Physical Education, Sport and

Health will take place on the 19th-20th of November

2010 in Pitesti, Romania. The main objective of this

International Conference is to reunite specialists from different fields, such as sport, physical activity,

kinesitherapy, education, health and nutrition, in order

to provide the opportunity of multidisciplinary debates

and comprehensive understanding of how physical

activity influences human life. Researchers from areas

related to sport and health will be invited to present their newest gathered information and its practical

applicability. Having participants with various cultural

backgrounds promotes intercultural and experience

exchange, together with sharing ideas and spreading the

latest knowledge among the scientific world.The target

group of the event involves specialists from different fields, such as: academic researchers, kinesitherapists,

Physical Education and sport teachers, physicians in

sports medicine, psychologists, nutritionists, coaches or

any other specialists related to the sport domain.

- lunch, closing ceremony. Conference language English Lecture time is up to 10 minutes

The requirements to the scientific materials: Papers must include up to 5 pages A4 with headline stating the Title, Author(s), Institution and Country; 12

pt, Times New Roman; left/right, top/bottom fields 2

cm, line spacing 1. Each presentation author is

permitted to submit not more than 2 manuscripts

Full text will be sent in English Deadline abstract 1st of november 2010 Notification of Acceptance/Rejection 10th of november 2010
