The Humphreys designed Oyster 62 is a beautiful looking yacht suited to fast long distance cruising in style and

comfort. She has competed successfully in many races, including winning her class in the ARC. Equipped with

a special tall, carbon fibre, sports rig and almost every conceivable optional extra, this boat represents an ideal

opportunity to purchase a nearly new boat at a considerable saving.

The items in italic highlight the non-standard items fitted during the build programme or added by the owner thereafter.

CONSTRUCTION

Hull

GRP hull is laid up single skin with structural stringers and floors to Lloyds approved design specification.

Hull colour white.

The stern design incorporates a bathing platform trimmed with teak slats and two stainless steel steps for

access to the stern deck.

Fully protected skeg-hung rudder.

For guests to port with upper and lower berths, hanging locker.

Saloon

Featuring oval table to starboard with burr oak inlay and black Avonite perimeter line and seating around,

outboard of this are two lockers. The aft locker contains a bar area which accommodates glass and bottle

stowage. To port are a pair of comfortable reading chairs, the forward of which can swivel to face the chart



table and navigation area at the forward end of the saloon. Port aft corner locker fitted out as TV locker with

slide away door. Bosch washer/dryer, locker with Oyster style grill for ventilation and interior wood grain

epoxy sealed, fitted at aft starboard corner of saloon.

Navigation area

Customised around the navigational equipment which, where possible, is flush mounted in a matt black, man

made leather fascia.

Galley

With gimballed Force 10 FT60451 four burner cooker with grill and oven, twin stainless steel sinks, front

opening fridge and top opening freezer. Stormy grey Avonite worktops with upstands on the galley work

surfaces.

Bosch dishwasher and Whirlpool UKM457 microwave.

Twin Cabin

To starboard with upper and lower berths, hanging locker and drawer and locker space.

Owner’s stateroom with en-suite heads

Configured with an offset double berth, a dressing table and seat, a large hanging locker and abundant drawer

and locker space. Extra insulation below floorboards.

En suite heads with Vacuflush fresh water flushing toilet, wash basin, separate stall shower and storage

lockers.
