Music Notes… Choir Rehearsals resume… Handbell Choir will resume on Monday,
September 9 at 6:30 p.m. Chancel Choir will resume on Thursday,
September 5 at 7:00 p.m. Children’s choirs and Youth Handbell choir will not be rehearsing
on Wednesday evenings. The Recorder Consort rehearses on Monday evenings at 5:00 p.m.
Children’s Music Room Dedication On Sunday, September 8, Room 9 in the Activity Building, which is the
children’s choir rehearsal room, will be dedicated in memory of Mary Lou Barker. Mary Lou was an avid supporter of our children’s choir program. She supported music education here and within the community. Please join us that morning after each worship service for a small reception. You’ll have a chance to play the instruments as well. Save the date and plan to join us!!!

Have you thought about attending one of the retreat weekends but never were able to fit it into your schedule? Now is your opportunity? Casa Maria Soup Kitchen Project - Saturday, September 21st, 8:30 a.m.: Come join us in the Activity Building! It was a great crew last time despite it being the middle of summer, and we're hoping for more help in Autumn! Yes, technically, we will
have made it through another summer. The work goes smoothly with a good crew, and we are 'wrapping up' before 11am. We will have produced about a thousand brown bag lunches for Tucson's down and out when we're done.
We Need Volunteers… Saints among us! Volunteers are needed weekdays in the church office to
answer phones, assemble Sunday bulletins, make copies and assist with various office duties. If you are interested in
