Maintenance Tip of the Month Heating

To maximize the heat flowing from your apartment's heating unit, your windows should be tightly closed. Tower residents with steam radiators (which contain coil fins that spread the heat into the air) should keep the area around the radiators clear. For Tower residents with heat pumps and Garden residents with gas furnaces, set your thermostat to heat, leave the fan in the auto position and then set your temperature gauge to the desired temperature. For safety, do not store flammable items in the heater closet.
