Essence Magazine honored Janelle Monae at the 2nd Annual Black Women In Music Pre Grammy Event. Lincoln displayed a new vehicle at the Hollywood Blvd entrance and Playhouse’s marquee highlighted the event’s title sponsor.

Inspired by Janelle’s tuxedo style, the colors of the evening were Black and White. Custom tufted couches were installed to reflect the theme in the gallery inspired room filled with framed portraits of the artist and sponsor logos.

To handle the large volume of celebrity arrivals, Playhouse’s Restaurant SLH was transformed into a Press Room. The event team carpeted the 20x20 room and installed 30ft of press wall.

Janelle’s performance was paired with live stream music videos playing on framed TVs mounted to custom tufted panels that framed the stage.

Mogul music producer, Tricky Stewart, hosted his Annual Grammy Event for Redzone Records at Playhouse Hollywood. The main room was transformed into a fiery inferno with molten gobos projected on tension fabric and red illuminated tables.

Beyond the glass, Passer-Bys on Hollywood Blvd viewed the sponsored Victory Motorcycle display and the excitement of the press room.

DJ Ruckus kept the crowd grooving. Aerial Performers and Custom Costumed Waitstaff added to the exciting event energy.

Evian & Pandora invited VIPs to Celebrate New Years at Playhouse. The events team branded the space with light box logos and crisp white furnishings.

Fresh branding concepts included die cut text from Evain’s Live Young Campaign and branded Evian orbs hanging amongst a cluster of disco balls.

In a raw space adjacent to Playhouse, the events team created a street side activation for Evian.

At the after party for the theatrical release of The Joneses, guests arrived at the quintessential suburban BBQ. No detail was spared, from the white picket fences and personalized mailboxes, to grass covered bars and the residential brick house façade.

Guests relaxed at booths with red checkered table cloths and grass below their feet. Product from event sponsor MBT was displayed in the entrance hallway as well as the suspended closet vignettes.

Event professionals came out in full force for the “Rock Circus” Playhouse’s event showcase. Guests were entertained by rock bands and acrobatic performance as they mingled and viewed new trends in the industry.

Booths at the club were set as dining tables, demonstrating a variety of theme and design concepts.

Guests entered down a carpeted back alley into a burlesque circus tent erected in Playhouse’s 3,000 sqft parking lot.

For Hennessy’s Black Artistry Event, Branded Decor and Costumed Waitstaff set the tone for a fun night complete with performances by Ice Cube and Q Tip.

Playhouse’s main entrance easily transforms into a low key red carpet area for smaller groups of celebrity arrivals. At this record release event, Lil Jon & LMFAO got the crowd jumping with the debut of their single “Shots”.

Verizon celebrated the VMAs with a club night performance by Sean Kingston. Playhouse’s parking lot was set up as green room/interview area, and branding was integrated everywhere from table wraps to florals.

The events team constructed a ramp for the launch of Ducati’s Diavel. A professional rider revealed the motorcycle by driving it to dance floor level. Guests gathered as costumed promotional models showed off the bikes features.
