Drainage
The water drained well offof this landing pad.
Water seemed to stay gathered at the bottom of this slide.
![Page 13: Playground Evaluation](https://reader033.fdocuments.net/reader033/viewer/2022061203/547cf13ab37959442b8b5188/html5/thumbnails/13.jpg)
Leaded Paint
This metal train has some paint starting to deteriorate. Kids could accidently get chips of this paint on their hands and transfer this to their mouths. Could result in lead poisoning.
The wood on this pavilion could probably use some chemical treatment to help strengthen the wood.

General Upkeep cont.
Trashcan is full and ready to be taken out.
It is wise to have some kind of maintenance program. This lady is cleaning up around the playground and inspecting for hazardous materials that could injure a child.

Findings
Strengths• Mats at the bottom of slides• Safe playground equipment• Movable toys• Plastic benches instead of
wooden
Weaknesses• Old toys that had rust or
paint chipped• A lot of the same
equipment instead of diversity
• A lot of movable toys
