New League Format Creates a 2 Tiered Club Structure◦ National Leagues Teams
Higher level of competition Committed Players More games, more training Excellence Level
◦ Competitive League Teams Fewer playing/training options Invitational Tournaments and Local club games Option to participate in Florida Invitational Fitness, Team Work Developmental Level
Training◦ National Leagues Teams
Practices are 4 to 5 times/week Practices are 1.5 to 2.0 hours long Morning practices Additional Dry Land Training Monthly Schedule should be a set schedule Sport Psychologist and Nutritionist (in discussion) Referee Clinic (planned) Attendance taken for all practices

Some fluidity due to candidates Building for long term coach development Requires “Coach Team” model to work
Team Sponsorship/Fundraising◦ You are encouraged to organize and participate
◦ Team Sponsorship would help fund the whole team Must follow WPC and WPQ restrictions/guidelines Must be approved by DDO Water Polo
◦ Fundraising helps the individual player Helps fund the participants Based upon the families contribution Paid directly into the player’s account
Costs◦ Costs based upon best knowledge at the time
No schedule from WPC No League Participants At Time Based upon 13 player roster Responsible for 1 referee
