The variety of roles and people are required to run a successful business Babcock employs over 34,000 people across the business, with 6,000 specifically working in our aviation sector. It takes a huge variety of people and jobs to keep our business running so that we can provide lifesaving operations, protect communities and support national defence. With a variety of jobs from pilots to medical crew, managers to accountants, it takes people from all walks of life to ensure we can thrive as a business and support our customers.
Every job role has a unique set of skills and responsibilities required. Diversity in the people that do each job is important in ensuring we can think innovatively and approach each project creatively.
Just because you start with one type of job, doesn’t mean you have to stick to it. Our Aviation CEO, Neal Misell, started his career in Finance
and is now managing the whole sector.
