Based on the celebrated Harper Lee novel of the same name, To Kill a Mockingbird is the story of six-year-old Jean Louise Finch, nicknamed Scout, and her father, Atticus Finch, a small-town lawyer in the American South who defends a black man put on trial. The story touches on issues of prejudice, poverty, racial injustice and childhood innocence. THE GLENN MILLER ORCHESTRA LUNCH AT WESTCHESTER THEATER FEE: $119 Tuesday, October 22 Today, The Glenn Miller Orchestra is still one of the greatest bands of all time! They play ALL THE FAVORITE BIG BAND HITS; “Moonlight Serenade”, “Tuxedo Junction”, “In the Mood”, “A String of Pearls”, “Chattanooga Choo Choo”. The legendary Glenn Miller was one of the most successful of all the dance band leaders back in the swing era of the 1930’s and 40’s. At the height of the Orchestra’s popularity, He disbanded the band to volunteer for the Army. He then organized the famous Glenn Miller Army Air Force Band. It went to Europe to entertain servicemen and then on December 15, 1944, he was lost in the disappearance of the single- engine plane bound for France. Because of popular demand, the Miller estate authorized the formation of the present Glenn Miller Orchestra in 1956. The band has proven staying power, and its popularity has never seemed to wane. Stripped down to reveal the darker psychological truths at its core, Daniel Fish’s production tells a story of a community circling its wagons against an outsider, and the violence of the frontier that shaped America. Upending the sunny romance of a farmer and a cowpoke, this Oklahoma! allows the classic musical – and our country – to be seen in a whole new light. Funny and sexy, dark and terrifying, “this is the OKLAHOMA! that was there all along.” (New York Magazine). Bus departs Midland Park H.S a 4:00 p.m. and returns immediately after the show.

When he disguises himself as an outspoken actress named Dorothy Michaels, he defies all odds to become a Broadway sensation. But as audiences fall for Dorothy and Michael starts to fall for the woman of his dreams, he’s learning that the hardest part of show business isn’t getting to the top... its keeping up the act. Bus departs Midland Park H.S at 4:00 p.m. and returns immediately after the show.
