SABB Platinum Visa Credit Card is more secure
than ever with the embedded microchip that
provides a high level of security and convenience
since the data stored inside the chip is encrypted,
preventing fraudulent use of the card. In addition
to this, a credit card PIN code will have to be used
along with the card to pay for all purchases and
for cash withdrawals. For that, please ensure you
activate your card and get a PIN code as soon as
you receive the card so you can enjoy all of its

How to use your SABB Platinum Visa Credit
Card at retail outlet Point-of-Sale (POS)
terminals*
1. The cashier will insert your card in the chip-card
reader of the POS terminal.
2. The card must stay inside the POS terminal
during the processing of the purchase transaction.
3. Wait until the cashier requests you to enter
your PIN.
4. Enter your card PIN and wait for the approval
response.
5. Once the transaction is approved, collect your sales
receipt along with your card from the cashier.
* This method is applied only when the POS terminal supports chip-card technology. If the POS terminal does not support this, then the card will have to be swiped using the magnetic stripe.
Note: Internet transactions do not require the credit card PIN code. Instead, they can only be performed by entering the 3-digit Customer Verification Value (CVV) found on the back of the card.

e-statements provide flexibility, convenience and
security by enabling you to view your monthly
SABB Credit Card statement online. You can
view up to three of your latest statements by
downloading them in PDF format or printing them
from SABBNET.
To access your e-statement, simply:
1. Log on to your account on SABBNET and then
click on the “statements/advices” field located on
the left-hand side of the page.
2. Click on “e-statement” on the drop-down menu.
3. Click on the monthly statement you wish to view.
If you are not registered with the SABBNET
service, please go to www.sabb.com for online
registration, or call SABB Direct on 800 124 8888.
A network of dedicated Card Service Centres offers
services such as card delivery, card replacement,
card activation, re-printing of card statements,
re-issuing of “ICSABB” certificates, advice on due

charge Credit Protection shield, it takes care of the
burden of your loved ones in the unfortunate event
of your total and permanent disability or death by
settling the total outstanding balance of your Credit
Card. What’s more, there are no additional monthly
charges levied on you to benefit from this feature.

Free Credit Protection
• Primary Cardholders below the age of 18 and above 64• Engaging in or training for any dangerous or hazardous sports, competitions or activities. Hazardous sports or activities may include the following: 1. Any form of aerial flight including light aircraft, monoplanes, ballooning, hang-gliding, parachuting, etc. 2. Winter sports such as sleighing, ski jumping, ice hockey, etc. 3. Water sports such as powerboats, water skiing, jet skiing, diving, etc. 4. Horse riding activities such as hunting, jumping, polo, racing, etc. 5. Climbing activities such as mountaineering, rock-climbing, potholing, abseiling, etc. 6. Participation in any kind of power-vehicle race, rally or competition. 7. Judo, boxing, karate, wrestling and other martial arts of any kind. 8. Purchase Protection provides short-term insurance

Purchase protection
Purchase Protection provides coverage against loss or damage that occurs within 90 days of the date of purchase. No registration of the purchase is necessary. If you need to find out the value of an item for a claim, simply contact SABB Platinum Visa Credit Card customer service unit. Protection is subjecttoanexcessofUSD50(ortheequivalentinlocalcurrency)foreachitemandoccurrence.
Your payout is also subject to any other applicable policies or indemnities you may have. If other guarantees are in place, protection is limited only to the amounts not protected and up to the original purchase price. In no event will this cover guarantee apply as contributing protection. This protection is in excess of all other valid and collectable clauses found in other guarantee or indemnity language.
Extended Warranty
Items are protected up to the values shown in the Terms and Conditions. The loss or damage must occur within 30 days of the date of purchase and no registration of the purchase is necessary. WarrantyissubjecttoanexcessofUSD100(ortheequivalentinlocalcurrency)foreachitemandoccurrence. It’s also subject to other applicable policies or indemnities the cardholder may have.

Baggage protection
Summary of benefits
Eligible persons
Holders of a valid SABB Platinum Visa Credit Card
issued by SABB, their spouse and 3 children up to
18years(23yearsifinfull-timeeducation).
Insured journey
In order to be considered an insured journey,
the total travel fare incurred by the Cardholder
in respect of himself and other insured persons
accompanying the Cardholder should have been
charged to his/her SABB Platinum Visa
Credit Card.
Delayed baggage allowance
Indemnity for the costs of emergency purchases in
the event that personal luggage which is checked-
in and in the custody of the commercial airline fails
to arrive within 10 hours after the Cardholder has
reached his scheduled destination. This includes
essential clothes and personal care products only.
Lost baggage allowance
Indemnity for checked-in personal baggage lost,
stolen or destroyed during an insured journey.
Limit of indemnity
Delayed baggage
Up to a maximum of SAR 1,125 for the Cardholder
or SAR 2,250 for the Cardholder and family*.
Lost baggage
Up to a maximum of SAR 3,750 for the Cardholder
or SAR 7,500 for the Cardholder and family*.

Written proof of the claim must be given for
processing within 30 days from the date of the
incident for domestic travel and 60 days from the
date of the incident for international travel including
the supporting required documents**.

Step 1: Use your SABB Platinum Visa Credit Card to make a purchase of at least SAR 1,000.
Step 2: Call SABB Direct Hotline 800 124 8888 and request to convert your transaction into a “SABB AQSAT” Plan for 6, 12 or 24 months.
Step 3: Pay the monthly instalment each month for the term of the “SABB AQSAT” Plan.
