Washing Options Explanations – AW 149 NA, AW 129 NA

Super-Wash

Use this option to select a more intensive wash (programs: sanitary, heavy and regular cotton, regular and heavy permanent press); them mechanical duration during main wash is increased.

Pre-Wash For heavy soiled cloths; before the wash cycle starts, there is a filling of water for 9 min. and drain.

Easy Iron

Reduces the amount of creases on fabrics, making them easier to iron. The duty cycle during mechanical agitation is 14 sec on and 16 sec off at 55 rpm. Reduction of the spin speed (max. 600 rpm) for the programs 5,6,7. For the Silk (9) the washer will pause before the final rise with the laundry is paused; the easy iron button will flash to indicate the cycle is paused; the machine will stay in this state until either the start button or the Easy Iron button is pressed again.

SoakingAllows you to leave your washing to soak for one hour during washing cycle; during this time your washing machine will also tumble every 2 minutes for 6 seconds.

Time Delay(only AW149)

To delay start up to 24 hours; each press will increase the time delay by 1 hour; press until “OFF” is shown in the display to cancel time delay.

Extra Rinse(only AW129)

Additional rinse increases the efficiency of the rinse; a full extra rinse will be carried out to ensure max. possible detergent removal (particularly useful for people with sensitive skin).

Variable Spin Speed

Reduces the spin speed below the maximum for the program you have chosen.

– AW 149: Each press of the button will reduce the spin speed; the new spin speed will be shown in the display; the machine will automatically prevent you from selecting a pin speed higher than the max. speed allowed for each program.

– AW 129: Select the spin speed by turning the knob; the machine will automatically prevent you from selecting a pin speed higher than the max. speed allowed for each program.

Variable Temperature

– AW 149: Reduces the temperature below the max. for the program you have chosen

– AW 129: This know will set your wash water temperature; max setting: machine will load water either hot, warm or cold according to the chosen program; max setting & sanitary program: heating element starts to achieve the temperature of 167°F/75°C.

AW 125 NA: super-wash, pre-wash, easy iron and extra rinse have the save effect; the button are w/o LED; temp. regulation same as AW129 except sanitary; variable spin speed equals AW129.

Drying Options Explanations – ASL75CXS, ASL65VXS

Time Delay

ASL 75 CXS: The start of the program can be delayed for up to 12 hours in 3 hr steps. When a delayed start is in progress, the light next to the delay button will be on and the selected delay period light will flash.ASL 65 VXS: The start of the program can be delayed for up to 18 hours in 1 hr steps. To cancel time delay, press one step more than 18 hr settings or turn the program knob to 0 and wait for the buzzer

Pre-Crease care

When a delayed start has been selected, the clothes are tumbled occasionally during the delayed period to help prevent creases developing.

High Heat When available, this button selects high heat and the light next to the button goes on. Timed programs have default to low heat.

Alarm Available on all programs; allows the buzzer to give a signal after the end of the drying cycle

Post Creasecare

The clothes are occasionally tumbled after the end of the drying cycle to help prevent creases developing

Display (only

ASL65VXS)

The display shows either the amount of time delay remaining or an indication of the amount of time left for a drying cycle.

– The delay time is displayed in hours and counts down each hour.– The time to end is displayed in hours and minutes

• When timed programs are selected the time displayed throughout the cycle is the actual time

• When sensing program is selected, the time displayed is an estimate of the time remaining; after the start of the program the displayed time is that of a full load; after 10 min. the controller calculates a better estimate of the cycle time.

• When the program finishes its air fluff phase, the display will show END.

Door Opening

Opening a door during drying will stop the dryer and has the following effects:• All 3 progress lights and the 3 hr delay light go on• during a delay phase, the delay will continue to count down, press start button to

resume the delay program• During cool tumble, post-creasecare, and AIR FLUFF the program will finish;

pressing the start button will re-start the program

Power Outage Press the Start button and the program will resume.

AS65VXS and AS66VX: high/low heat button is the only option available
