• Thank you for this opportunity to share information

about Blest’s “Plastic to Oil” machinery, available in

Japan and Australia since 2002. In USA since March

2011

• We can process about 85% of all plastic waste or

about 10% of all municipal waste.

• Waste plastic (#2,4,5,6) is worth $600/ton when

processed with Blest equipment.

BASIC SCIENCE

When plastic is heated to 700

degrees –without oxygen– it vaporizes.

The heat destroys the chemistry. The

result is synthetic oil with most of the

characteristics of diesel fuel or #2 heating

oil.

Per Gallon Cost/Benefit

Analysis

• 8.2 lbs plastic + $0.25

energy = 1 gallon oil

• 1 ton plastic + $60 energy

= 245 gal oil (net $600). 4
