Keyboard shortcut. Adalah tombol jalan pintas pada keyboard yang digunakan dalam operasi komputer.Artikel ini memberikan anda pengetahuan tentang bagaimana menguasai 25 tombol shortcut yang paling penting dengan mengunakan keyboard. Dengan belajar bekerja secara terorganisir, pekerjaan anda akan jauh lebih produktif. Pekerjaan menggunaan komputer yang biasanya menghabiskan banyak waktu, dengan cara ini mudah­mudahan bisa membuat pekerjaan anda lebih cepat. 

Catatan: Semua huruf menggunakan kapital, tetapi anda tidak perlu terus tekan tombol Shift kecuali jika memang ditentukan. Anda juga tidak perlu mengetikkan tanda plus(+);tanda plus berarti menekan kedua tombol pada saat yang sama.

Penggunaan dalam sistem operasi Windows 1. Alt + Tab (memilih(toggle) diatara program / pekerjaan yang akan di buka) 2. Tombol Windows + M (membuka desktop, / minimize semua pekerjaan) 

3. Tombol Windows + Tab (memperlihatkan semua pekerjaan di task bar) 4. PrtScn (meng save gambar di layar ke clipboard; “paste” gambar di layar tsb ke program editing anda untuk membuat file gambar) 5. Tombol Windows (membuka menu aplikasi windows)

Mengoperasikan Windows XP Tanpa Mouse

Beberapa hari ini, dan mungkin sampai dengan beberapa hari ke depan, dengan terpaksa saya akan mengoperasikan komputer saya tanpa menggunakan mouse. Hal ini terjadi karena satu-satunya mouse yang saya miliki sudah tidak mau lagi melayani saya. Mungkin dia bunuh diri karena sering dibanting oleh anak laki-laki saya yang berumur 16 bulan.

Selain keyboard, mouse memang telah menjadi bagian yang hampir tidak dapat lagi dipisahkan dengan komputer kita. Tanpa mouse kita harus banyak-banyak menggunakan shortcut. Mula-mula memang terasa sangat berat, tapi setelah banyak shortcut yang kita hafal, justru pekerjaan kita akan terasa semakin efisien, karena tangan kita tidak perlu sering-sering berpindah dari keyboard ke mouse, dan sebaliknya.

Setelah beberapa hari tanpa mouse, inilah shortcut-shortcut yang paling sering saya gunakan :

1. Untuk menjalankan sebuah aplikasi, tekan tombol [Windows] kemudian dengan tombol panah atas, bawah, kiri, dan kanan, pilihlah aplikasi yang akan kita jalankan, kemudian tekan [Enter]. Tombol [Windows] adalah tombol yang berada di antara [Ctrl] dan [Alt] sebelah kiri yang bergambar logo Windows. Jika keyboard Anda tidak memiliki tombol ini, dapat digantikan dengan menekan tombol [Ctrl] dan [Esc] secara bersamaan.

2. Untuk menutup aplikasi yang sedang aktif, tekan tombol [Alt] [F4] 3. Di Windows, biasanya kita menjalankan beberapa aplikasi secara bersamaan, misalnya

Windows Explorer, Outlook Express, Microsoft Word, dan Internet Explorer. Nah untuk berpindah dari satu aplikasi ke aplikasi yang lain tekan dan tahan tombol [Alt] kemudian dengan tombol [Tab] pilihlan aplikasi yang akan kita aktifkan.

4. Untuk menjalankan Windows Explorer tekan [Windows] dan tombol [E] 5. Hampir setiap aplikasi di Windows memiliki sebuah icon kecil di sebelah title bar. Jika di-klik

(dengan mouse) akan menampilkan system menu, antara lain Minimize, Move, dan Maximize. Dengan keyboard Anda bisa memanggil system menu ini dengan [Alt] [Spacebar].

6. Untuk me-minimize semua aplikasi yang aktif (alias show desktop), tekan [Windows] [M], efekyang sama saya dapatkan jika menekan tombol [Windows] [D].

7. Untuk logoff user yang sedang aktif tekan tombol [Windows] [L]

8. Tekan tombol [Windows] [F] untuk file search

Masih ada puluhan, bahkan mungkin ratusan shortcut yang tidak dapat saya tampilkan di sini. Jika ingin mendalami masalah per-shortcut-an ini silahkan cari di google dengan keyword “mouseless windows” atau “windows without mouse“.

Menggunakan MouseKeysJika kita tidak memiliki mouse, maka pointer mouse akan diam di tengah monitor tanpa bisa digerakkan kemana-mana. Sebenarnya kita masih bisa menggerakkan pointer mouse menggunakan fasilitas MouseKeys. Untuk mengaktifkan MouseKeys ini, caranya :Buka Control Panel, pilih Accessibility Options, pilih tab Mouse, beri tanda centang pada Use MouseKeys.

Untuk menggerakkan pointer mouse, gunakan tombol panah (atas, bawah, kiri, kanan) yang ada di Numlock, dengan kondisi Numlock harus On, jika Numlock Off, otomatis MouseKeys tidak berfungsi.

Shortcut NakalNah shortcut yang terakhir ini saya temukan dengan tidak sengaja, saat mencoba-coba menemukan shortcut yang saya inginkan, malah menemukan shortcut ini. Cobalah tekan tombol [Ctrl] [Alt] dan tombol panah ke bawah. Apa yang terjadi ?

Coba saja sendiri. Lumayan buat ngerjain temen.
