The Content, Tone, and Language I would like to use in my Double Page Spread

Page 2: Planning my double page spread

For my music magazine, on my double page spread I would like to use:

• A Question and Answer interview with the music artist, as it sets it out more easily and would fit in with my target audience for my music magazine

• This style of article would help my music magazine, because it is laid out in an easier way to read and speeds up the process of reading for the reader

• In the article, questions will be asked that appeal to the target audience of the magazines, such as possibly “what clothes they wear” and “what boys do they fancy”

• Question and Answer interviews are used in the magazine that I am trying to emulate such as Top of the Pops Magazine, in their DPS interview with Little Mix.

• My article for my Double Page Spread would be a mix of informal and formal, however with more informal to fit in with my target audience

• The informality would be good, because my target audience is of a younger audience and therefore would fit in with the language that they may use in their everyday lives.

• Informality would also be used I my music magazine, because the artist being interviewed would be informal, because they are a modern pop artist of the 21st Century.
