The project is in progress and has two contracts i.e. Temporary works and Main works. While Temporary works includes site preparation,
establishing the Site offices, Stores and access road to sites.
The Main works Contracts includes Earth work, civil work, Buildings and MEP works required to functional a technically advanced Metro
system. The Project is designed to provide a Depot and Stabling yard upon its completion. The project has 21 buildings in Depot and 16
buildings in stabling yard with miles long network of Track slab, Electrical Duct Banks, Drainage systems and Road works as a major
deliverables.

Distinction : First ever tilt Up Wall Concept in Qatar
The Qatar Academy at Al Khor is a prestigious and comprehensive educational facility of international stature. It is designed to supportinnovative technology, housed in state of the art educational facilities in order to provide an elite educational experience for all its pupils. TheAl Khor Academy development consists of a number of 2 storey (G+1) buildings, with each building interconnected by canopy structures, linkstructures or shared external courtyard space. The project was successfully completed to Original contract date.
In essence, the development is made up of 6 principle area types:-

Communal Spaces (Libraries and shared spaces)

External Spaces (including sports pitches and car parking

Distinction : First Steel Bridge in Qatar & Fast Track Project
The project includes an eight span steel bridge with ramps either side of approximately 150m length, formed by retaining walls. The span
lengths of the steel bridge vary from 25.2m to 34.5m. The construction of the bridge was by plate girders with reinforced concrete deck slab,
made up of 100mm thick precast concrete units and 150mm Insitu reinforced concrete.
In addition, there were road extensions and diversions all along the Bridge after its completion and storm water network was also completed
post Bridge opening. The Bridge was open to Traffic as per stipulated time frame.

The Project was a JV between Herban Electric International, China and Habib Rafiq, Pak. Due to situation then it was fast track
project in its nature with hard Milestones fixed in the programme. The project scope was classified to Temporary works and Civil
works.
The temporary work concludes the site clearing & grading, office establishing, construction of accommodation and Labor camps
both for locals and Chinese in addition to regular road diversions, road maintenance and one of live canal diversion.
The Civil work includes Earthwork, Piling, Buildings, Oil Tanks, Sub Stations, Drainage Networks and Roads.
The Project was one of very complex to sequence due to unavoidable interface between different sub-contractors and disciplines
while the following were constructed under HRL:
