help avoid any last minute rush. 5. By creating and following an assignment plan, your work will be

better prepared, written and presented.

If you have a 600 word assignment then using a map like this you know you have to write 100 words for each section + intro & conclusion.

Structure - Introduction Now you know what you want to write and the order you are going to write it in you can think about writing your introduction. The Introduction should start with you restating the question/ rephrasing the question in your opening sentence. It is important to repeat many of the words found in the question to show your teacher/ marker that your answer is clear and on target. When you have restated the question you should give a broad outline of what you want to say which can be in the form of a thesis statement or a summary of the main points from your mind map.
