Objectives:
1. To provide quality nursing care for patients.2. To attain good relationship among the students, Clinical Instructor, Head Nurses,
Staff Nurses, and other health care personnel in which learning is facilitated towards
attainment of competency in rendering quality care to clients within the healthcare
delivery system.
3. To be able to identify responsibilities and function of head nurses.4. To orient the colleagues about their assigned hospital area, their activities and tasks
and responsibilities assigned upon them.
5. To provide additional skills and knowledge to subordinates.Plan Of Activities
5:30 - 6:00 Arrival and getting of patients list
6:00 - 6:10 Grooming
6:00 6:15 Opening prayer
6:15 -6:30 Signing of attendance and checking of paraphernalias
6:30 7:00 Endorsement of patients
7:00 8:00 Duty proper,bedside care, taking of initial VS, checking of IVF level
8:00 8:30 Plotting of latest VS
8:30 9:00 Checking the patients chart and updating the Kardex
9:00 9:30 Break
9:30 11:00 Duty proper, taking of latest VS, checking of IVF level, draining of urine bagfor I and O monitoring
11:00 11:30 Plotting on final VS, checking of chart
11:30 11:45 Post conference
11:45 -12:00 Grooming and end of duty
