Aptitude & Employability Training

The Placement Cell organizes Aptitude Training Sessions to trainstudents in following areas:

Students undergo Employability Skills Training which helps them inoverall personality development, employable and industry ready. Theworkshop helps students in the following modules:

Technical Training – Campus Connect Program

The College conducts Corporate trainings with support from IT Majors to enhance the

technical skill sets. 90 hours training program has been prepared and customized by

Placements Cell as per the industry needs.

In addition to the above, regular Technical Training sessions and tests are conducted by

in house faculty for all students.

Considering the job description provided by the company, the B.Tech Placement Cell

organizes training sessions so that the students get prepared and are ready to perform

in the technical interviews.

Topics Covered

Corporate Connects & ActivitiesZS Associates hosted a Workshop on “Brown Bag on the Art and Science of Problem-Solving” at our

campus. This interactive event helped candidates understand the most-effective approaches to solving the

business case in ZS’s upcoming Consulting Challenge

Capgemini conducted a guest lecture by Nilofar Shaikh on LINUX, UNIX Programming. This informational

event was conducted on 4th March 2019 and it helped the candidates to understand about Linux for

Network Administration, Linux for Server Administration & Security in Linux.

Nomura (Fintech): Nomura conducted a FinTech Seminar which covered new financial technologies,

artificial intelligence, robotics for Pre-Final year students on 22nd April’2019

Quantiphi Q-Demy Workshop organized for B. Tech & MCA Batch of 2020. The workshop is scheduled on

27th & 28th April 2019, topics being- Cloud computing, BIG Data, HTTP & Firebase, Machine Learning –

Algorithms.

• On the basis of performance during the workshop, Quantiphi extended 7 final placements offers to B.

Tech students of Batch 2020 with CTC of 9.5 & 8.5 lakhs per annum for the profiles of Data Engineer,

Platform Engineer & a Software Developer.

Tech Fiesta 2018 – Capgemini: Capgemini Techfiesta 2019 was conducted on 27th May'19 with the

theme," Hello Tomorrow: Delivering New Business Value". B. Tech IT CS Students had attended the Event

to witness the cutting-edge solutions. It has become a great platform to promote idea exchange, facilitate

experience of disruptive technology solutions and has become an ecosystem where all stakeholders

share, learn and discover together.

Corporate Connects & ActivitiesInfosys organized for Webinar Sessions on 18th June'19 & 4th July'19 for the briefing about the Infy

TQ App for students across Mumbai & Shirpur.

Nomura Kakushin Contest: Information Technology Division Coding Contest “KakushIN” launched by

Nomura on 30th July 2019: The competition was held with a purpose to try and simulate the challenges in

the real world of technology and give a bird’s eye view into the life of a technology professional in an

investment bank.

• 2 students “Shubh Verma & Adhishree Ranpura” from B.Tech CS were offered Full Time

Employment as ANALYST by Nomura

Project Deep Blue Season 5: Mastek conducted a session on 14th August 2019, briefing about their

Project Competition Launched. This Project would connect the NGO’s and their problems and will go live

on completion and helping them in different ways with the help of technology and innovation and creative

ideas from Fresh Engineers.

Shezartech, Japan Drive Based Training had been organized in Mumbai on 14th Sept'19 & Shirpur on

3rd, 5th, 6th & 7th Sept'19 to prepare the registered students in technical areas as per the requirement

of the profiles offered by the Company.

TCS conducted a Post Engagement Session on 7th Feb 2020 for the selected students of Batch 2020

Koffee Konnect Engagement Event was conducted by KMPG on 26th Feb'2020 for the selected students

of Batch 2020
