various industries. The center intends to cater
vocational training needs for enhancing employability
skills of students.
The center is equipped with industrial grade
experimental setups on PLC, HMI, SCADA, VFD, Servo
& Stepper drives, analog and digital sensors, actuators,
panel meters, controllers, etc. Various courses, from
basic to advance level, are offered that covers domains
of automation, process control and monitoring,
mechatronics, etc.
The center also serves the needs of industrial and
research projects taken up by faculties at the institute in
collaboration with industries.
Learning Centers
Robotics is a domain with unbound potential and always
attract students. Robotics club has been set up at the
department that serves as center for project based
creative learning. Students across disciplines join the
club to experiment and learn principles and practices in
engineering through fun activities and robot designs.
The club is equipped with required infrastructure and
offers three courses viz. Beginners’ course, Advance
course and Application design in Robotics. Students
are also encouraged to take part in various national and
international competitions on Robotics.
Robotics being multidisciplinary domain, activities
involved helps to broaden outlook of students towards
engineering. The club also provides a platform to
develop skills like team work, creative thinking, etc.
