On behalf of Dad and myself I would like to welcome everyone to the 13th Annual Place Your Bet Bull Sale! New date and location this year as we decided to go all on our own, and are very happy to be working with the great folks at Bouchard Livestock. This past year has been the most trying year to date for us with a lack of moisture making feed hard to come by, as we know it has been tough for many others to. We were very happy to market our Simmental heifers in the fall again through Checkers female sale with much success and Angus females through The Northern sale and Angus Collection. Being the tough summer with no grass regrowth we are very proud of the set of bulls we have on offer, a lot of variety whether you’re looking for a Red Angus, Black Angus or Simmental bull. We would like to thank our past customers through the first 12 years of sales and welcome

Welcome to the 13th Annual Place Your Bets Bull Sale. This year will offer a little different spin on the sale. Merlin and Dean Arntzen have decided to go out on their own this year, with a new date and new location. On offer is this year is around 50 bulls represented by three breeds. The folks at Sunstar Simmentals & Arntzen Angus will be offering yearling and two year old Simmental, Angus and Red Angus Bulls. The bulls are soggy, stout and are bred and raised to be very sound and go out and work. Whether you are in need of a Black or Red Angus or a Simmental, there is a bull here for you. There is a large selection of heifer and power bulls that will fit any cattleman’s needs.

Please plan on joining us March 20th at the Stettler Auction Mart for the 13th Annual Place Your Bets Bull Sale. If for any reason you are unable to attend, all of our staff here at Bouchard Livestock will be very familiar with the offering. His dam is a very top producing thunder daughter that has raised a top calf every year. A son has sold to Murry Magill and a daughter to Langco Angus.

A standout all along this sky high son has all the style and muscle shape that a great Angus sire exhibits. His dam has been one of our very best producers that should be entering the donor phase, with daughters retained in the herd and a high selling bull that sold to K Cow Ranch and Lazy HE Ranching.

A calf we’ve been excited about since he was born a sky high out of tip top my favorite cow whom was shown fall before last and was second in class at Stockade to the National Champion Female, she is also the dam to our ref sire Intimadator and our show bull Innovator.

Sky high calf with tons of hair and flash! His dam produced our top black bull last year that we showed all fall and sold to Frank Leslie, a cow that raises one of the top calves each year, can’t say enough good things about these Bismarck daughters.

Eruption needs no introduction as she won as a show cow, raised the $10,000 Overflow selling to Vikse’s and David Mohr, who has bred on awesome with even two daughters selling to Texas. This custom made son is really neat in his style make up and muscle shape, really love the consistency of these custom made calves. CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRY The proper Registration of Recordation paper, as the case may be, will be duly transferred and furnished to the buyer for each animal after settlement has been made.

SHIPPING Assistance will be given in making shipment after the sale, but Sale Management or Seller assumes no risk. Expenses incurred are the responsibility of the purchaser. Purchasers are requested to furnish shipping instruction when making settlement.

GUARANTEE All animals will carry standard breeding guarantee as specified by the applicable Canadian breed Association. At no time shall the seller’s liability exceed the purchased price of the animal.

EXCEPTION TO GUARANTEE In cases where the animal is subjected to any hormonal or surgical reproduction techniques after the sale, the guarantee shall be null and void. In the cases of bulls, they are guaranteed to breed naturally according to applicable Canadian breed Association guarantee, but no guarantee is given that semen from any bull will freeze.

HEALTH It is the buyer’s responsibility to determine health requirements for importing any animal into his province or state. Bouchard Livestock Ltd assumes no responsibility for the health status of any animal in the sale.

ACCIDENTS Although every precaution will be taken to protect the safety and comfort of buyers, neither the Sale Management, auctioneer, or Association assumes any responsibility in this matter and disclaims any liability legal or otherwise in the event of accident or loss of property.

RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS The above terms and conditions of the sale shall constitute a contract between the buyer and the seller and be equally binding to both. Resale of animals following purchase in this sale shall constitute a separate transaction and the rights and the terms and conditions of this sale do not cover obligations of the two parties connected thereto.

BOUCHARD LIVESTOCK LTD IS AGENT ONLY It is clearly understood that Bouchard Livestock Ltd acts only as agent between buyer and seller and is not in any way responsible for any failure by either party to live up to his or her obligations. Bouchard Livestock Ltd does not assume any financial obligations to collect or enforce collection of monies by either parties, and in exceptional case, any legal action will be between buyer and seller. Bouchard Livestock Ltd has no ownership of the facility and assumes no responsibility for the operation of said facility

The terms of the sale are cash or cheque payable at par at sale location unless satisfactory credit arrangements have been made prior to the sale. The right of property shall not pass until after settlement is made. Bouchard Livestock Ltd reserves the right to require a certified cheque as settlement before releasing any sale cattle. Should the purchaser fail to settle for his purchase, Bouchard Livestock Ltd. reserves full power to resell the animal to the best advantage, either publicly or privately, without further notice. Any loss arising from such resale, together with keep and all other expenses shall be payable by the defaulter. All settlements must be made with the clerks of the sale before any cattle will be released. The owners, Bouchard Livestock Ltd. and sale staff have the right to refuse bids from anyone who has a previous record of default in payment and/or who has not made prior credit arrangements prior to the sale with the owners and/or Sale Management.
