    Seminar 1:Introduction to Parliament and the module, the concept ofparliamentary sovereignty and parliamentary research skills (RW) (11items)

    This seminar will provide details of the module and teaching arrangements. We then go onto look at the concept of Parliamentary sovereignty and how it has evolved over time, andthe multiple, over-lapping and potentially conflicting political relationships within thePalace of Westminster. The session will also introduce the research skills and resourceswhich students should use for the module, including an introduction to resources onParliament's website and explanation of primary documents such as Parliamentarybusiness papers and Command papers.
