What is a professional portfolio?• A portfolio is a purposeful collection of work that exhibits

any learner's efforts, progress and achievements. As such, it provides a forum to develop the habits of mind conducive to reflective practice. For teacher candidates, this process begins a career-long journey of professional growth that is both self-directed and self-monitored.
