The game is an action Side Scrolling RPG with quests, side quests, perks for the character and different equipment for your character like weapons, armour and spells.There is a levelling system in the game where you gain XP from killing enemies which will level up the character so you can gain more perks which will help you in the game.

Demons

I will be creating a game concept and then create a trailer for the game, the trailer will be about a minute long

My main character will be based on the Templar knights, I will design the character, weapons, armour etc.

I have collected several images of knights to help base my character off.

I will create the backstory for the character and the main story including quests and side quests

There will be various enemies in the game, I will also design the enemies, how they look, there weapons etc. The main enemies will be demons

Environment

The main environment for my trailer will be villages and churches

Market research

While doing my research I created a survey and sent it out to various websites and got back 50 replies, the feedback was good and it showed that people like playing 2D side scrolling games and that there is a market for it.

My inspiration comes from a game called castle crashers which is made by the company Behemoth.
