ANARCHY
SYNOPSIS (TODOROV’S THEORY)Equilibrium- The government in Britain is corrupt and tension is building. The NHS is being cut off and people have to start paying or their own help and innocent people are being thrown into prison and being prosecuted for peaceful protests.
Disequilibrium- A violent group emerge and take charge in order to form a revolution to over throw the current government. A massive fight against the police occurs and lives are lost.
New Equilibrium- The anarchists storm the houses of parliaments and manage the over throw the current government. Democracy is restored into Britain.

In V for Vendetta the narrative of a Revolution run by one man was what insipred us and aspects of it will be used in our title sequence.

used, the news report ideas and the style of cuts and will use
aspects of this in our work.

In the Purge title sequence we enjoy the real footage used and
may add features like this in our title sequence.
TARGET AUDIENCEOur target audience would be 15-40 as most students and adults usually enjoy watching action/crime films and also the protagonist of our film will be aged between 20-25 which would make the audience have something in common with the film and lead them to watch it.
Our film will be released in August as it is the time where students and adults have the most free time and are able to watch the film. In addition to this the working class would also have free time during the summer to watch films. A general election will be taking place around the time of our release date which also links to our film.
Our age certificate is 15 as their will be violence and scene that may
disturb viewers under 15.
BUDGET AND BOX OFFICE• Based on our three case studies we can see that for this genre of movie the budget
varies. As our film will be British and based in London with no substantially high actors our budget will not be as high as other films in our genre.

• Our film will be exclusively British in terms of actors and the settings but will be produced and distributed by American film company's as we feel it could help our film reach out internationally.
