NARRATIVE SYNOPSIS OF VIDEO1. IntroThe video will begin with various montage shots of all the scenes that will feature in the video. When the beat of the songs starts to die down, the first shot of the first verse will appear in the montage after every other shot and the last shot of the intro will be that recurring shot and so when the first verse starts, that shot will continue into the rest of the scene for the first verse.

2.First verseThe scene will start, with the artist in a room facing a mirror, applying her makeup. On the dressing table there will be candles. The camera will be positioned behind her on the right-hand side. The camera will start to track behind the artist and stop on the left-hand side of her until we see her reflection in the mirror. She will be miming the lyrics whilst looking at herself so it seems she’s trying to tell herself that she needs to leave the relationship and that she deserves better. The artist will be reflecting on her relationship and her thoughts will be shown to the audience transparently through editing..

3. BridgeThe artist will get up from her seat and start walking away and as she walks away the camera will track her until we see the dancers (which they will start dancing when the chorus begins). The artist will walk out of the shot of the dancers and the camera will just stay put whilst the dancers are dancing. This scene will combined with the artist’s performance scene.

4. ChorusThe camera will be positioned in a long shot and the dancers will dance a routine dance. The artist will also be dancing on a separate occasion but through editing, we will combine the two scenes together so we have a combination of both the dancers and the artist.

5. Second verseThis scene will begin with the artist and her boyfriend, she will be miming the first two lines of the verse to him so it shows she’s directing her lyrics to him. The following three lines will be a shot of the artist and her boyfriend disagreeing with each other. The artist is trying to get her boyfriend to see things from where she’s coming from so her expressions will show her pleading with her boyfriend but the boyfriend doesn’t look interested in what she has to say. The last line will be a shot of the artist standing alone by herself in a dark room as without her boyfriend everything is dark.

6. Bridge  Artist will be performing and there will be a projection of different things that symbolise her enlightenment i.e. fireflies that will be projected behind her but will also be projected on her at the same time.

7. Chorus Dance scene intercutting with solo performance by the artist

8. Instrumental  Montage of shots Arguing scene Mirror scene Projector scene

9. Hook A close up shot of the artist. During this shot, there will be fade ins and outs of burning pictures of her and her boyfriend and also things that symbolise love or things that symbolise their relationships. Shots of the artist lying down on the floor being surrounded with candles.

10. Bridge Range of shots of people holding flares, still shots of people, single shots of the artist, wide shots of the artist in the open field location.

11. ChorusThis final scene will be shot in an open field, where a number of girls are celebrating their independence alongside the artist. The scene will end with a shot of a lantern being set off in the air which will represent her letting go of her relationship.
