– PreAcc Beam: Switched to source B – Running very well with little sparking?• Source A has been rebuild and re-installed – never found a reason for sparking or vacuum leak!

– Linac SBK looks to be in final stages – Waiting on legal regarding property rights– Linac Laser Notching – – Modulator work – two talks today -– Booster Beam: Tuning – beam for HEP and studies

• Transverse damper – studies underway – tunes and chroms affect on dampers looked at…no data yet?• Cogging software work continues – have run on $19 cycles with old system – some interesting results• Booster orbit smoothing – • Booster optics software – Val and Tan are in process of quad correction settings – will load new settings• Booster Longitudinal dampers – making progress on new card -

– Booster RF cavity rework • Booster RF8 was re-installed today • Booster RF3 was removed – sitting on MR side of tunnel until we are ready to ship/repair• Booster RF13 has had it flanges machined – tuner work continues• Spare Cavity Work – waiting for tuners/labor – not likely to happen for some time• New Cavities – some meetings to start up process – looking to set timetable/milestones• Perpendicular Cavities – progress in modeling now looking to refine and fix issues (Talk after holidays)

– Booster Ferrites – Low Mu cores all tested – results posted in log….good to go on new tuners– High mu cores – National responded that they are making progress on testing and have some plans for higher u

– Booster Shielding – Discussions on how to proceed with beam based measurements and MARS– Short Kickers tested good – will be used for PS testing (Salah having TD fix some base plates mount)– Booster Bias supplies -

PIP funding has not been consistent – but still a good amount of money and increasing amount of oversight. Make sure you are paying attention to schedule updates and requests from Keith and Fernanda. We will turn in today labor requests for FY15 and FY16 – the labor request will then be sent to Department Heads for review and for lab planning exercise.
