Axel Kirsch, DMD Pioneer in ImplantologyDr. Axel Kirsch is an internationally recognized pioneer in the field of perio-implant-prosthetics. For the past 30 years, Dr. Kirsch’s experimental and clinical experience has resulted in the development of the IMZ Implant System. Dr. Kirsch and his interdisciplinary team of experts developed and tested the Camlog Implant System both experimentally and clinically since 1995.His current clinical research is centered on the field of hard- and soft-tissue management for reliable implant-prosthetic rehabilitations.Since 1974, Dr. Kirsch has given training courses and lectures throughout the world on the IMZ Implant System, the Camlog Implant System, preprosthetic surgery, and perio-implant-prosthetics. Robert Marx, DDS Dr. Robert E. Marx, Professor of Surgery and Chief of theDivision of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Universityof Miami Miller School of Medicine, is widely known as an educator, researcher and innovative surgeon. He has pioneered new concepts and treatments for pathologies of the oral andmaxillofacial area as well as new techniques in reconstructive surgery. His many prestigious awards, including the Harry S. Archer Award, the William J. Giles Award, the Paul Bert Award, and the Donald B. Osbon Award, a�est to his dedication and commitment to the �eld of oral and maxillofacial surgery. His recent textbook "Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology - A Rationale for Diagnosis and Treatment" has also won the American Medical Writers Association’s prestigious Book of the Year award.Course Objectives:

Myron Nevins, DDSDr. Myron Nevins is an Associate Professor of Periodontology at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, Clinical Professor of Periodontology at the Temple University

University of North Carolina, and is a Consultant to the Bethesda Naval Hospital. Dr. Nevins has served as the President of American Academy of Periodontology, is a Diplomat and served as Director and Chairman of the American

Periodontics & Restorative Dentistry since 1981 and published periodontal and implant textbooks. Dr. Nevins is a recipient of the Master Clinician Award and the Gold Medal Award from the American Academy of Periodontology.

Peter K. Moy, DMD

Dr. Peter Moy received his dental degree from the University of Pi�sburgh, a certi�cate in General Practice Residency from Queen's Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii and his certi�cate in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from UCLA Hospital and Medical Center.

He presently limits his practice to Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery focusing primarily in the areas of Osseointegrated dental implants and the reconstruction of the severely atrophic ridges. He is currently on sta� in the departments of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery as well as Hospital Dentistry at UCLA. He is also the Co-director of the UCLA Dental Implant Center. Dr. Moy has wri�en numerous articles related to Implant Dentistry and Osseointegration, speci�cally, on bone gra�ing and augmentation procedures for the atrophic ridges. He has lectured nationally and internationally, most recently at the 98th Annual Meeting of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He established and maintains his private practice in the West Coast Center for Osseointegration located in Brentwood, California.

E. Pat Allen, DDS, PhD Dr. Allen is past president of the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry, the American Academy of Restorative Dentistry and the American Academy of Periodontology Foundation. He currently serves as the Periodontal Section Editor for the Journal of Esthetic Dentistry and serves on the Editorial Boards of the Journal of Periodontology and the International Journal of Periodontics and Restorative Dentistry.

Dr. Allen received the Distinguished Alumnus Award from the Baylor College of Dentistry Periodontics Residency Program, the Master Clinician Award from the American Academy of Periodontology and the Best Teacher Award from the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry. Dr. Allen is Founder and Director of the Center for Advanced Dental Education in Dallas, Texas where he teaches surgical technique courses. He has published over 50 articles in the area of esthetic surgery and continues to present numerous lectures and surgical demonstrations worldwide.
