along with as an enteric coating / binding material and

also for sustained release coating / binding material.

As an enteric coating / binding material, HPMC-P

protects the stomach mucosa against stomach irritatingdrugs and protects acid sensitive drugs against strong

acidic gastric juice.

Anycoat-P (HPMC Phthalate HP55) dissolves quicker at
