GOVERNMENT

Pine is a capitalist government.The government provides: • Public safety • Education• General welfare• Healthcare• Postal Service• Employment

PUBLIC SAFETY

Police and fire departments are well- trained and well-equipped.

Jails and prisons are well-guarded by trained security.

Everyone has the right to a fair trial. The death penalty is allowed as a

punishment for severe crimes such as murder.

No bail or getting out early resulting in uncompleted sentences for good behavior.

EDUCATION All public schools have the same education as a

private school does now. There are free public colleges along with better more

expensive colleges. Four days of school a week and three days off

(Tuesday-Friday in school). Classes include:• Humanities• Science• Math• Foreign Language• The arts• Extra curricular activities: Sky diving, sleeping,

swimming, and study hall.

HEALTH

Health care provided by government for those who are in need of medical attention.

Everyone pays a tax to fund the hospitals. Care also provided to the elderly in need for free. Cigarettes, alcohol, and drugs are prohibited in

the following areas:• Schools• Hospitals• Parks • Protected areas (national parks, monuments,

etc.)

GENERAL WELFARE

Safety nets provided by the government (if individuals drop below the poverty line and cannot support themselves.

The government will step in and provide: Food Shelter Money (to help them get along) Clothing

POSTAL SERVICE

The postal service can scan packages for dangerous materials.

However, they cannot remove items from packages without search warrant.

EMPLOYMENT

The government provides everyone who lives in PINE a job that fits whatever skills that they have.

If you attend college, you get a better job; more education = a job that requires a higher skill level.

MILITARY

The militia that PINE has enforces peace and protection from outside threats.

If PINE or its allies were being attacked by threats, the military goes to battle.

TAXES AND CURRENCY

JEAK’s are the standard currency for PINE. They have the same monetary value as USD. J = pennies (1¢) E = nickels (5¢) A = dimes (10¢) K = quarters (25¢) JEAK = one dollar ($1)

Small tax percentages on everything purchasable (10% of original price).

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

Parks, nature reserves, and wildlife sanctuaries flourish in PINE.

PINE focuses on achieving greener and environment-friendly supplies and ways of thinking.

PINE will always reserve 40% of its land for urban/suburban areas and 60% for rural communities.

TRANSPORTATION

Only people that are 16 and older can drive with a registered license.

Seatbelts are required on all vehicles. There is security at airport terminals. (NO

PRIVACY INVASION!)

RECREATION AND ENTERTAINMENT

Teams for all sports are not separated by sex, age, or race. Instead, team members are evaluated based on their skill level and placed into teams accordingly.

Every child has the opportunity to play/participate in every extra-curricular activity. Every child is required to do at least seven hours per week. (Time is allotted to do so.)

LAWS AND RIGHTS

The rights that every citizen on PINE has are: Freedom of speech, press, assembly, marriage,

and religion. Poor treatment of a certain racial group any

different than all the others is prohibited. Everyone has the right to a fair trial.
