PILOTI IS A SERIES OF SOLID OAK SIDE TABLES.
THE SUBTLE DETAILING OF THE TABLE TOP CREATES THE IMPRESSION
OF A SINGLE LINE, FLOATING ABOVE FOUR DELICATE LEGS.
The Pi lot i ser ies includes models with different table top dimensions and heights. Consequently, i t is possible to combine the tables as a nest.
At f irst glance, the Pi lot i tables are extremely s imple – a thin l ine in space suppor ted by four legs. Close up, the ref ined detai ls creating this del icate look are obvious. A subtle profi l ing of the table sur face adds f inesse and makes the table sur face appear s leek with an integrated transit ion to the round legs. Pi lot i is made of sol id oak, fur ther adding to the table’s tangible, material qual ity.

Hugo Passos approaches design and materials with many of the
same principles as Fredericia 's founding designer Børge Mo-
gensen. Design must be functional, aesthetical ly consistent,
wel l-propor t ioned and with ingenious detai ls . Drawing on his ex-
tensive knowledge about wood, Hugo Passos has designed a series
of minimal ist and very s lender s ide tables.
