Formative research results• FGDs and In-depth interviews conducted

in 6 out of the 30 villages• Key informant interviews were

conducted with health authorities, and village, block and district leaders

• Research results informed the development of nutrition training materials

• Priority nutrition behaviour topics became clearer: – Timely and appropriate

complementary feeding starting at six months

– Diversification of diets– Micronutrient supplementation– Household gardening– Sanitation: hand washing, safe water,

and compound hygiene

Nutrition trainings conducted• 20+ Video production & dissemination local partner (VARRAT) team members• 35+ AWWs + 40 ASHAs working in 30 villages, Keonjhar District• Maternal, Infant and Young Child Community Nutrition Training Package
